Promotions or Special Offers
Based on currently available public information and customer reviews, Dammann Oaks Campground does not extensively advertise specific, ongoing promotions or special offers in the same way larger commercial establishments might. This is common for smaller, privately owned campgrounds that rely more on word-of-mouth and the inherent value of their peaceful setting.
However, it is always a good practice for prospective campers to directly contact the campground to inquire about any potential deals or arrangements. Sometimes, smaller operations like Dammann Oaks Campground may offer:
- Seasonal rates that vary, with potentially lower prices during off-peak times (e.g., late fall or early spring).
- Discounts for extended stays, such as weekly or monthly rates, which could be beneficial for those planning a longer retreat, as was the case with the cabin rental review that spanned several months.
- Group discounts for larger parties or family gatherings.
- Loyalty programs or repeat visitor incentives, although these might not be formally structured.
Given the owner, Terry, is described as "very accommodating," there's a good chance he might be willing to discuss specific needs or potential arrangements if you reach out directly. The primary "promotion" of Dammann Oaks Campground is its intrinsic value: a beautiful, peaceful, and safe environment at what is likely a competitive price point for camping and cabin rentals in the Iowa region. The focus here is on the quality of the experience rather than aggressive discounting. It is highly recommended to call them directly for the most up-to-date information on availability and pricing.

Customer Reviews
My family and I rented out the little cabin on the property from September- April. Winter was cold! But the fall and spring is beautiful especially with the pond. We had the perfect back yard to play in with our baby and dogs. We always felt safe too. Terry the owner is a nice man who is very accommodating. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet.
Very beautiful campground! The sites are a little different; buddy back in so you're sharing water and power. But the pond is gorgeous, tire swing for kids, sand volleyball court and horseshoes. Overall, a very nice campground.
This was our first campground as RV owners and it was the best experience so far! Campground is secluded with a huge pond. Some sites have full hookups but there is a dump site. The owner is super nice and helpful and the area just gives off good, safe vibes! I already miss it!
Wonderful place. The owner was always very nice and accommodating. We stayed here for work in the winter when there was a snow storm. The owner was always checking on us to make sure we were ok and had enough heat and propane.💜❤️💜 Also multiple times the owner and his neighbor pulled us and the other workers out when we got stuck in a pile of snow 💜❤️💜. Breathtaking view. Great price and great people loved staying here. Hope we get a chance to visit again.
Stayed 4 days. Wonderful campground. Great owners. Affordable. Lovely setting. Fishing available. 10 miles west of Clarinda. Walmart in Shenandoah.
