I’ve been coming here with my family since I was little, and it’s always such a great experience. Now I get to share it with my own kids! The campground is beautiful, relaxing, and full of memories. We enjoy the easy access for kayaking, fishing, or just enjoying the water. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I look forward to coming back every year!

Aug 09, 2025 · Amy DonaldsonWe have been camping at Deer River for several years and love it. Campground is clean and well-maintained with a great, hard-working staff. The views of the Adirondacks are spectacular. It is a great place for kayaking and fishing with many amenities for family fun. Please don’t believe the negative, politically motivated reviews from people who have never even been here.
Aug 09, 2025 · Sharlene JockMy wife and I have stayed there often over the years. We find their staff friendly, courteous and always helpful. If you treasure a peaceful environment with all that nature has to offer this is your Campground. As my wife is French Canadian it is a convenient and quick trip to visit the family. Once in awhile we will even stop at the casino which is about half an hour away for dinner.
