While specific, ongoing "promotions or special offers" are not explicitly detailed in the provided customer reviews, privately owned campgrounds like Donegal often have flexible pricing or loyalty incentives. Given that it's noted as "the cheapest in the area" already, its competitive pricing might be its primary ongoing "promotion" for attracting value-conscious campers. However, it's always worth inquiring directly. Potential special offers that smaller, family-run campgrounds might have include:
- Seasonal Site Discounts: Given its popularity for seasonal campers, there might be attractive rates for long-term summer stays, which are generally more cost-effective than nightly or weekly rates.
- Weekday Specials: During less busy periods, particularly outside of major holiday weekends, some campgrounds offer reduced rates for weekday bookings.
- Return Camper Incentives: For those who, like the reviewer, "will be coming back again," there might be informal or formal loyalty programs that reward repeat visits.
- Referral Bonuses: Some campgrounds encourage current happy campers to refer new guests, offering a small discount or perk for successful referrals.

Customer Reviews
Awesome owner, very nice guy. Campground was clean overall as far as the sites and facilities go, wasn't too much going on and was very quiet. The site we had was perfectly level almost and very roomy and large with plenty of room for a large RV. Full hookups all worked perfectly, and the whole campground is covered with trees, making it very easy to keep cool or stay out of the sun. They also have a pool which looked pretty nice, they were working on getting it open for memorial day. Nice and close to the turnpike, plenty of places and things to do nearby. Will be coming back again!
We were seasonal campers here for 13 years. The campground is small but it is clean and well shaded. It is owned by Betty Yeckel. She's very nice. Her son Dan, owns and runs the body shop out next to the main road, Rte.31. He helps his mother tremendously with the campground. I see someone complained of a sewage smell. The campground uses a leach bed system that is in the woods below the place. When it is a major holiday weekend and the place is loaded up with campers, one should expect some discomforts. The bathrooms are dated but clean and work well. The pool is of nice size. It is filled from an underground spring so the water temp is quite cool most of the time. This place is as mentioned, close to the turnpike. It's also fairly close to Seven Springs. Ohio Pyle isn't all that far away either. This place is the cheapest in the area. If you want laid back camping, then go here. If your looking for a lot of hoopla, go elsewhere.
We have a 40 foot motorhome. We were in Site 8. Very nice and wooded. A little hilly to get to the site, but not a problem. It is a level, gravel site The sewer was a distance away, but we only used electric, which was fine. Close to Flight 93 memorial.
A beautiful spot, easy to reach from the turnpike. Awesome pull through site with full hookups. Love the trees and quiet here. We will definitely camp here again.
Nice pull thru sites. Ez in and out. Quiet, clean. Easy access to the highway
