As Doud Campground operates within Eisenhower State Park, under the management of the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT), specific "promotions" in the commercial sense are not typically advertised. State parks generally operate on a standard fee structure for park entry and campsite rentals, which can vary based on the type of site (primitive, electric/water, full hookup) and the duration of stay. A state park vehicle permit, available for a daily fee or as an annual pass, is required for entry into all Kansas State Parks.
While direct discounts from the campground are rare, the KDWPT occasionally implements statewide initiatives or programs that might offer value to park visitors. For example, an annual state park vehicle permit can be a cost-effective option for Kansans who frequently visit state parks throughout the year. Any such broader programs would be announced through official KDWPT channels.
It is always recommended that prospective campers visit the official Kansas Wildlife, Parks and Tourism website (ksoutdoors.com) for the most current information on park entrance fees, camping rates, and any statewide initiatives. Additionally, contacting Eisenhower State Park directly via the provided phone numbers is advisable to inquire about specific site availability, current conditions, or any potential seasonal considerations, especially during peak seasons or holidays. While some reviews mention issues with electrical panels, checking with the park in advance might provide updated information or guidance.

Customer Reviews
Not what it used to be. You can see that they are not putting the money earned from this park back into the park. Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, (required to book 4 days minimum because it's a holiday weekend) they di at least mow the weeds, but there was thick overgrowth on most of the gravel parking spots for campers. I had to do my own weed eating to get them managed. Electrical panel for my RV spot was booked as a 30 amp, but was actually a single 20 amp, and single 10 amp breaker. My air conditioner didn't pop the breaker often, but it did a few times. Good thing it wasn't too hot out, and I didn't need our fans as well as the A/c or there would have been more instances of blown breakers. We have more camping booked this summer at Eisenhower, but thankfully not in the Doud loop.
