For those seeking a long-term residential solution that offers a sense of neighborhood, a mobile home park like Eastwood Hills can be an appealing choice. While public feedback indicates areas for improvement, particularly concerning road conditions, the core appeal of a mobile home park often lies in its community feel and accessibility to local amenities. This overview aims to provide a factual and informative look at Eastwood Hills from the perspective of potential local residents in Alabama.

Location and Accessibility

Eastwood Hills is located at 1961 Alton Rd # 802N, Irondale, AL 35210, USA. Irondale is a city in Jefferson County, Alabama, situated just east of Birmingham. This location offers residents a significant advantage: convenient access to the vast array of amenities, employment opportunities, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities available in the larger Birmingham metropolitan area.

For Alabamians working or frequently visiting Birmingham, Eastwood Hills provides a relatively close and accessible residential option outside the immediate urban core. While some internal road conditions have been a point of concern for residents, the overall external accessibility to surrounding areas remains a strong point for the park. This also typically includes maintenance of shared infrastructure like internal roads (though resident feedback indicates ongoing concerns in this area).
  • Waste Management: Access to trash collection services, often through communal dumpsters or curbside pickup.
  • Common Area Upkeep: Maintenance of any shared green spaces or community facilities, if applicable.

Horrible roads, full of potholes and speed bumps, and people will practically run you over trying to avoid them. *Update: It's been months since I posted this review and the owners saying to have patience, well, absolutely nothing has been done, things have just gotten worse, more potholes everywhere, some looking like swimming pools, roads just crumbling and having to take the car to the mechanic and to get balance so often because of road conditions. *The pictures are just a very small example and not in the least the worst of the road.

The owners have finally fixed the roads! Original: I love living here (location and people), however, management changes all the time. Roads are also so so bad. It just gets worse and worse with potholes that they are unavoidable. Managment keeps upping rent with the justification fixing the roads but then proceed to do nothing. 415 is not worth it in the slightest. This park has been bought over and over for the past 5 years for quick money with no improvement. Location wise and community is fine. It's just the roads are so awful

This place has little neighborhoods of its own. Meaning that every couple of streets is a neighborhood it is it's own community. To give you an example. The street I am familiar with mostly. Everyone that lives on that street works almost everyday. There's not much socializing between the neighbors. There are a couple that physically socialize with each other longer than 5 minutes. They respect each other very much so. There are kids in almost every trailer. They love to have parties. It does not matter for what they just love to have parties. I think it is more about socializing than the party itself. I know at least three of the neighbors have and run their own businesses and yes them three neighbors all have children. Their children play together. They do not believe in calling the police. I guess unless somebody got shot or seriously hurt I believe they would call the police then. But their mindset is to stick to themselves and handle any problems that may arise within themselves and each other and work it out. This neighborhood, this community on these couple of streets are by far the hardest working people that I have had the honor of living around. I haven't learned a lot living here by the people that I live around. now it took a while for all of the neighbors and myself to understand them and them to understand me. After a certain amount of time they understood and understand who I am and how I am. And the same goes for them, for the most part. There's still a lot of understanding that could be talked within our physically socializing. If you're wondering about is this a drug neighborhood, well let me tell you flat out the only thing that would ever come down either one of these streets is a bag a sticky green and that would be hard to find. Who in this day and time does not smoke sticky? I don't because of certain reasons. but for the people who do it is their business and the stuff is practically legal. It's ridiculously illegal in the first place. The law is very backwards when it comes to prohibition on marijuana. That's another subject there are no drugslike I said this is the neighborhood filled with children I mean literally every single day children ride their bikes they play with each other, and do what children do. I do my own thing. I do not socialize when anyone I try and I will talk to certain neighbors at certain times now it's not perfect. I have neighbors there are few in the community that just so happened to live in the community but not be a part of the community. Not everyone will understand that. Even myself, I would definitely count me being part of the community I'm definitely in the I see my neighbors the same onesevery single day every single morning I see the same children play on the streets every single day I see the saying cars come up and down the streets at certain times every single day to get their mail I see the same postman 5 days a week I see the same posts lady one day a week I hear the vehicle the post automobile I know who it is when I hear it. Very hard-working people. The people who live around myself are some of the best people I've ever met, and that goes for not being my friend but working hard as hell to support their family and make a better life for their and raise their children. these folks that live around me are literally living the American dream or at least they're trying to. Like I said we're not all my best friend I hang out with them and we laugh and cut up everyday, Nope it's not nothing like that. I've learned that they will respect you but also respect them. Like I saidin every community you are going to have certain folks that are just not good for the community. They're either rude, trashy, ignorant arrogant foolish self-centered and some just Evil. But that is the few. One thing I can say I've never had anything stolen from me ever since I have lived here. All ran by a absolutely wonderful terrific manager who is absolutely caring and giving. This part could not be ran by a better person. The managers great what else can I say.
