Services Offered

As a mobile home park, Irondale Mobile Home Park primarily provides lots for lease where residents can place their manufactured homes. Based on typical offerings for such communities in Alabama, the services generally include:

  • Lot Rentals: The core service involves leasing individual plots of land for residents to install their manufactured homes. Residents are responsible for their homes, while the park manages the land.
  • Utility Hookups: Each lot is equipped with essential connections for utilities, including water, sewer, and electricity. Residents typically establish their own accounts with utility providers and are responsible for usage costs.
  • On-Site Management: Professional management oversees the park's operations, including lot leasing, enforcing community rules, and handling maintenance of common areas. (Note: Customer reviews indicate some concerns regarding management practices and communication, particularly related to rent and late fees, which prospective residents should inquire about thoroughly.)
  • Road Maintenance: Upkeep of internal roads within the park is typically managed by the park to ensure access for residents and service vehicles. (Note: While some efforts to clean up lots have been noted, the quality of road maintenance isn't explicitly praised in available reviews.)
  • Waste Management: Provision for trash disposal, often through designated communal bins or curbside collection services.
  • Common Area Maintenance: Basic maintenance and landscaping of shared spaces within the community to maintain a decent appearance.

Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to communicate directly with park management to clarify all services, responsibilities, and any concerns about historical issues before committing to a lease.

  • Potential for Improvement: Recent efforts to clean up "junk automobiles" and "dirtiest lots" indicate ongoing attempts by management to improve the park's appearance, which could be a positive sign of future enhancements.
  • Long-Term Residency: The park caters to individuals and families looking for a stable, long-term place to reside.
  • Community Atmosphere: Mobile home parks often foster a close-knit environment, though this can vary based on management and resident interactions.

Some junk automobiles in people's yards have finally been removed and a couple of the dirtiest lots are being cleaned up. I thought they hired a new lawn crew but today I saw the guy who did it last year so I removed a star.

The way the rent and water is done is wrong. The noise at night is to much. If they do work on the site to pay rent, expect to get a min of a $ 80 late fee. We paid have the receipt and after 8 days they changed it to not paid and added a late fee.We have it on auto pay btw. If this gets resolved properly I'll be back. 1yr later and I have a good complaint. I will update soon.

My family and I have lived here for over 20 years. This place has been through 3 different owners. The first set of owners, who pioneered the existence of this trailer park, were the Odom family, and they brought our community together by having an open door, a laundry mat/storm shelter, and holiday parties each year. They treated us like family and made us feel welcomed. Thank you to the Odom family and their staff: Mrs. Brown, Jessie, Reginald, and Miss Mary Anne. The 2nd set of owners lived out of state and closed down the office. They started coming to open the office just a few days out of the month, but we had already lost that sense of family community and were not able to get to know them like the first owners. We started becoming concerned about the park because of neglect. And, before we knew it, they sold and we were under new management. Bridget is the new community manager, and she makes us feel welcomed too. I am so thankful that the new owners have started investing into this park and have built a new picnic pavilion and playground for the kids. They have plans to tear down the old tennis court and build a basketball court. I know that when you place a little money to focus on the kids then it will draw families and make our park a great success. This is a family-friendly park and a place where we try to get to know our neighbors. It makes us proud to call this place home.

Vehicles speed through there with no regard to children playing or people walking there dogs. Also its looks like a dumpsite in the woods. Right now the trailor park is flooding due to a water leak in road. People that live here pay their water bill with lot rent. The owners of the trailor park read the water meters. At least 3 to 4 times a month people will have no water for hours. So owners read water meters there are always water leaks in road and I don't mean little ones.i think they are crooks taking advantage of the park bc they have 2 new double wides sitting on blocks (so they don't get damaged) . Lot rent is high enough but add your water bill that they control. Makes me sick have a lease from before the crooks purchased the trailor park no more than 2 occupancies oh and the subleasings go on and they have more business listed so illegal and I see no bussinesses
