The atmosphere of the campground is very family oriented. The playground, pool and beach area are great! A few suggestions would be to have a different system for your bartenders, I waited at least 10 minutes before I waved someone down to order food (and two of the three were not busy serving they were talking). The showers were extremely clean but extremely HOT. My other suggestion would be to allow golf carts. There was a lot of vehicle traffic and electric bikes that people were going faster on then a golf cart would go. We did enjoy our time and the kids were not bored at all! We stayed in G Section and our site was in excellent condition. Your store is exceptional and the workers were great! The arcade area is also very nice.

A Favorite Getaway That Never Disappoints: Our Stay at Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground For our family, we try to mark the unofficial start to summer with a getaway to Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground in Baraboo, Wisconsin, a place that has become a cherished favorite. Whenever we visit, this exceptional campground provides the backdrop for some of our fondest memories, and our most recent trip this past Memorial Day was no exception. Fox Hill continues to be a haven for relaxation, family fun, and impeccable hospitality. Whether you're a seasoned RVer, a traditional tent camper, or looking for a more luxurious outdoor experience, Fox Hill caters to every preference. Over the years, we've utilized their spacious and well-maintained tent sites, and this year, we treated ourselves to one of their deluxe cabins. The cabin was a fantastic retreat, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. It was impeccably clean upon our arrival, a testament to the high standards maintained throughout the entire park. What truly sets Fox Hill apart is its incredibly family-friendly atmosphere. The park is a paradise for children, with a seemingly endless list of activities to keep them entertained. From the laughter echoing from the swimming pool to the shrieks of delight from the pond with its inflatable slide, there's always something to do. Our kids spent hours racing around on the pedal carts, making new friends at the playground, and exploring the expansive grounds. The amenities at Fox Hill are top-notch. The convenience of on-site laundry and clean, well-maintained shower facilities makes a world of difference during a camping trip. For the adults, the on-site bar provides a welcome spot to unwind and socialize after a day of activities. However, the heart and soul of Fox Hill lie in its exceptional staff. Every interaction, from booking our reservation to checking in and throughout our stay, was met with a warm smile and a genuine willingness to help. Their dedication to ensuring a positive guest experience is evident in every corner of the park. In a world that seems to be constantly changing, it's comforting to return to a place like Fox Hill where we can truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect as a family. This past Memorial Day weekend was another resounding success, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. For anyone seeking a clean, friendly, and activity-rich camping experience in the Baraboo area, Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground receives our highest recommendation.

Let me preface this by saying I tried to give this campground the benefit of the doubt. I really did. My wife booked our two-week stay, and the negative reviews had me worried, but I figured a few bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch, right? Wrong. Dead wrong. This place isn't just a bad apple; it's the whole rotten orchard. The staff are unhelpful and unfriendly, bordering on hostile. But the real prize for worst campground experience goes to the owner, who I suspect is the offspring of the "angry mom" mentioned in other reviews (the apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree). I was promised a private room for an important business meeting – a short meeting, mind you, requiring only decent WiFi, something our campsite decidedly lacked. On the day of the meeting, I was informed by the receptionist that the owner had unilaterally decided to rescind the offer. His reason? I can only assume it's retribution for my son's supposed misbehavior in the common area. Petty. Vindictive. Unprofessional. This campground operates on a bizarre system of playground justice, where children's antics dictate adult access to facilities. Save yourself the headache, the frustration, and the passive-aggressive power plays. Heed this warning: steer clear of this campground unless you enjoy being treated like an unwelcome guest in a poorly-run hostel. There are plenty of other campgrounds out there. Choose one of them.

We stay here at least once a year for a weekend or two. We stayed here in a travel trailer. Our site had electric/water/sewer and free wifi. The site itself felt a little tight only because next to us one night was a really big rig. We are talking 200K+ motor home. I think its size just really made our site seem small. In all seriousness the site was fairly level. The kid park was large and had stuff for all ages including swings, playground equipment, volleyball court, and basketball court. In the park was a nice shelter if you were camping with a group and wanted to eat together. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Every time we stopped in the camp store they were welcoming. Check in was easy as walking in and letting them know who we were. They also have other things to do on site like giant chess, giant checkers, ladder ball, and a disc golf course. We played the disc golf course twice and it was pretty fun. They have a couple nature trails on site. If you are into golf the campground is right next to a golf course. If you want to gamble you only have to go less than a mile to be at a casino. The bathrooms/showers were clean and the water was warm. I mentioned the camp store which has a fair amount of items in it. From camping gear to toys, to food items. Our site also had nice tree coverage and was in the shade most of the day.

Site was large and provided adequate tree shade. Food at the Den is terrible and not worth it. Ordered chicken nachos and received stale chips, cold cheese, and minced chicken tenders. Overall, great campground!
