Frog Hollow Camp Ground and Rv Park About
For many Mississippians, the joy of RV travel lies in its flexibility and the ability to find a comfortable haven no matter where the road takes them. Sometimes, the perfect stop isn't about elaborate resorts, but rather about convenience, reliable amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. This is precisely where Frog Hollow Camp Ground and RV Park in Grenada, Mississippi, positions itself. Situated on MS-7, it's designed to be a practical and straightforward option for those needing an easy "in and out" for an overnight stay or a simple base for exploring the Grenada area.
Imagine you've been on the road for hours, and all you want is a hassle-free place to settle in for the night. Frog Hollow aims to provide just that. As one recent traveler noted, it’s an "Easy in and out for an overnight stop." This makes it particularly appealing to those traversing Mississippi, offering a no-fuss solution to their travel needs. While acknowledged as an "older park," the critical element of functionality is confirmed: "the hookups were fine." This suggests that despite its age, the essential services are reliable, which is paramount for any RVer.
However, it's also important for locals considering a visit to be aware of varied experiences. While some find the check-in "quick and easy with the owner" and appreciate the "Good customer service" from the manager Rhonda, other experiences indicate potential inconsistencies. One reviewer mentioned "Not much communication" after paying over the phone and a delay in getting directed to their site. They also highlighted being placed in a challenging site with a low-hanging tree that "scraped the camper," despite other seemingly more suitable empty pull-through sites being available for their large fifth wheel. This suggests that while overall service can be positive, specific site assignments might not always align with a camper's rig size or preference without direct intervention.
This article will provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Frog Hollow Camp Ground and RV Park, tailored for local users in Mississippi. We'll delve into its strategic location, the services and features it offers, potential pricing, and contact information. Our goal is to help you set accurate expectations and decide if Frog Hollow is the right fit for your next quick stop or casual camping trip in the Grenada area.
Frog Hollow Camp Ground and RV Park is located at 601 MS-7, Grenada, MS 38901, USA. This address places it directly on a primary state highway, ensuring exceptionally easy access for all types of RVs and trailers. Grenada, Mississippi, itself is a notable city in the north-central part of the state, primarily known for Grenada Lake, a vast reservoir popular for fishing, boating, and various water sports.
The park's position on MS-7 means it's straightforward to get "right off the highway exit," making it an ideal choice for travelers looking for a quick and convenient overnight stop without veering far from their route. This direct accessibility minimizes travel time on smaller, less familiar roads, which is a significant advantage for those driving large rigs or simply wanting to maximize their driving day.
While the highway proximity offers convenience, it also contributes to the "Pretty noisy" environment mentioned by a reviewer. Campers should anticipate some level of road noise due to its direct roadside location. However, for those prioritizing ease of access and a functional stop over absolute seclusion, this trade-off is often acceptable. Its location also puts campers within a reasonable distance of Grenada's local amenities, including gas stations, grocery stores, and local eateries, as well as the recreational opportunities offered by Grenada Lake. For a practical and accessible base in the Grenada area, Frog Hollow's location is a key feature.

Customer Reviews
Pretty noisy as it’s right off the highway exit. Easy in and out for an overnight stop. It’s an older park but the hookups were fine. $48/night. I paid over the phone then had to call back when we got there and wait for Rhonda to come take us to our site. Not much communication there, and the man who came out put us in one of the only sites with a tree hanging over it that scraped the camper as we were pulling into it. One of the many other empty pull thru sites would’ve made more sense to me with a large fifth wheel, but okay.
Stayed here one night while we were in transit. Check in was quick and easy with the owner. Rhonda the manager greeted us as soon as we arrived. We followed a golf cart to the pull through site they picked out for us . Good customer service and a safe place to stopover for the night.
Best campground around very clean lots of trees plenty of room not stacked on top of one another I love it
Frog Hollow stay was an overnight stop on the way home from our vacation out west. The campground needs lots of work. Mainly full timers parked in a run down campground. I would look for a better campground next time.
We stayed here 4 months while my husband’s job was in Grenada. Management was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The majority of lots are so small that we could hear the neighbors walking/stomping sometimes. I’m certain they could hear us. The ground’s could be kept better, and the hours a bit odd. However we felt safe here and our children could play and ride bikes freely in the park. Management enforced the speed limit strictly, which I appreciated a lot. The rec room was a great place to do school work outside of the RV. The laundry facilities, bathrooms and rec room were kept clean and neat by both the management and guests.
