Aug 24, 2025 · Martin AlvaradoRun down campground that needs TLC and less political and religious signage. Cash or check only, odd this day and age (consider Venmo if you do not want credit cards). Went to plug in and my surge protector found low voltage. The owners did come fix it promptly. They do not always answer the phones, be patient. This campground has several permanent residents and there is a lot of broken down clutter at many sites. Most of picnic tables at the sites were cheap, plastic. They bought new wooden picnic tables and are in the process of staining them. Lots of the buildings need a paint job, pressure washing or just cleaned up. There's a great restaurant 7 minutes away, Hindsight BBQ that we strongly recommend. Sorry, we do not recommended future visits.

Jul 18, 2025 · Anthony BenderThis is a great campground with so much to offer and so many things to do. I'm very happy that I decided to stay here. The property is nicely laid out and very well maintained. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. All of the buildings were very clean including the bathrooms, showers area. There is a nice pool, a playground for the kids, a small store that stocks many necessities or things you may have forgotten. The price was average and reasonable for the accommodations and my site with a solid picnic table and a fire ring. I will definitely be going back again. If you're looking for a great place to go and relax with entertainment for the kids or just for peace and quiet and relaxation, this is the place to go. Summer goes by so quick, come here and make some great memories!
Oct 08, 2023 · LJOur family really enjoyed staying here. The location is nice and not too far from town. They are really working on fixing it up and making it better for the kids with two new playground sets per age. There is a fenced kiddie corner updated with a 2-5 yr old playground and another playground around the corner for 5-12yr olds. Very family oriented and pet friendly! everybody was very nice. The bathrooms are kept up with - always have toilet paper and are cleaned. They’re doing a wonderful job there. And the sites are very nicely sized! Would recommend especially if you have kids! The huge baseball field, basketball court, and pool are also perfect to keep the kiddos busy
