Based on the provided information, Griff's Valley View RV Park & Campground primarily caters to its guests through its excellent value and high-quality services rather than specific, broadly advertised "promotions." However, a key aspect to note is its pricing structure and reservation policy, which effectively serve as an offer for longer-term stays.

  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Rates: The campground offers tiered pricing designed to provide better value for extended visits. Daily rates are typically around $28-35. Weekly rates are reported to be $150-155, and monthly rates range from $450-465. These monthly rates, in particular, represent significant savings for those looking to stay for longer periods, a feature highly appreciated by those traveling for work or needing a temporary residence.

  • Reservations Recommended: While not a promotion, the fact that "reservations are full" and it's a "busy place" indicates high demand. This makes securing a spot, especially for extended stays, a valuable "offer" in itself. The park explicitly states that "reservations are required" and that they "cater to longer term customers," suggesting a preference and structure for extended bookings. Getting on a cancellation list is a testament to its popularity.

For the most current rates and availability, especially concerning long-term stays, it is always best to contact the campground directly. While traditional discounts might not be prevalent, the inherent value in their pricing for extended periods and the quality of the park itself act as significant draws.

Fantastic campground close to Des Moines, Adventureland in Altoona, and all the retail/restaurants you can handle in Ankeny. Location is just remote enough to be in nature, and 10-15 minutes to all mentioned above. Just an amazing value! It's a very affordable campground on a farm, complete with storm shelters, a small lake, great landscaping and nature statues, and literally next to a greenway! No complaints, and very much appreciate the hard work these folks have put into this RV park. Thank you 5 stars!

Travel For work all over the state. Love love love this rv park! It’s the nicest one I’ve been to in 3 years upon being a camper owner. Busy place, getting used to traffic going by took some getting used to. Though not at all a deal breaker! I’m close to dumpster-walking distance- which I helpful for me when I pack up on weekends to go home. Full service hook ups is amazing!! I often don’t have that luxury. Was a little disappointed there was no picnic table to set up my table top grill, again not a deal breaker at all my tailgate works fine. Only able to stay one month reservations are full- staff I talked to was excellent about referring me to other locations with reasonable extended stay options. Got on cancellation list so hopefully it makes it to me before month is up- would really like to stay here. Also want to say that I feel completely safe being at this rv park being a solo traveling female. Would suggest to anyone.

This RV park was so accommodating. We were traveling through and were able to stay there at the last minute. Then we had to extend our stay due to extremely high winds. Mr Griff was so accommodating. I have stayed at many RV parks but this one has to be the best ever. The area was pretty and extremely clean. The sites were so well kept. I love the horse theme and the beautiful pond. I only wish it was closer to the East Coast so I could stay there again. I highly recommend this park

Nice, clean park, great lots, many pull-through ones available. Great management, ran by people that understand what's important to campers, recreation or business. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for.
