Perfect location to visit the National Park, Babcock State Park, Bridge Brew Works, Thurmond, whitewater rafting, Concho Rim Overlook, Finn’s Falls, the coke ovens, & so on. Close to groceries and gas. Quiet at night. Laundry, bathrooms, showers available. Diesel mechanic next door, useful if anything bad happens lol. 50 amp, water, dump station. The dump station is set-up higher than the tanks on an rv (at least ours). We had to make do. The area is beautiful. & Josh is a fantastic host

We had a little rally here for Bridge Day. Eleven 40’. Josh, the owner, was very accommodating! There are several sites for dry camping or renters. My only issue was that the hookup sites didn’t have sewer. But there is a dump station, nice fire pit, covered building, and rest rooms and showers at the office. We were there 6 days and had a great time. There is much to see in the area!

What can I say about this little gem. Perfect location for exploring southern WV. Everything you could want to visit is within an hour drive or less. The campground is located right off the highway with restaurants and shopping nearby. The owner Josh Perdue is exceptional. In addition to owning the campground he also is a diesel mechanic.

I agree with other reviews: Josh is awesome. He’s a great guy. He understands having kids around. His campground is clean and has plenty of room to navigate to park and set up. His electrical hook ups have a variety of outlets, not just one! He’s on city water and it’s just fine if you don’t have a filter. The campground has a space to socialize around a fire pit, a sandbox area for kids, plenty of space to walk around if you just want to stretch your legs. The campsite is very close to the highway, gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. But, also has that wooded, country feel. As a woman I feel safe in the area as it is well-lit and not deep in the woods. It has great cell service, too. This campground has what you’re looking for if you want a peaceful, convenient, and safe place to stay.
