Whether you're passing through for a night or planning to stay for weeks or months, Harlowe's aims to provide a pleasant and convenient experience.

Location and Accessibility

Harlowe's RV Park is conveniently located at 615 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802, USA. Early is a town situated in Brown County, within the heart of Central Texas, making it an accessible hub for travelers exploring this region. Early Boulevard (US-377/US-84) is a significant roadway, ensuring easy navigation for RVs of all sizes when arriving at and departing from the park.

The park’s location offers a practical base for exploring the wider Brownwood area. Nearby attractions include Lake Brownwood, which provides opportunities for fishing, boating, and other water activities, as well as various local parks and historical sites. The convenience of being close to the amenities of Early, such as local restaurants and shopping centers, means you're never too far from what you might need. For those heading to or from larger Texan cities, Early serves as a strategic stop, allowing for comfortable travel days without straying far from major routes.

Services Offered

Harlowe's RV Park focuses on providing the essential services that RVers need for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. While it emphasizes a quiet and clean environment, it ensures the fundamental hookups and facilities are in place.

  • Full Hookups: Each RV site at Harlowe's RV Park is equipped with full hookups, including water, sewer, and electricity. This is crucial for a hassle-free RV experience, allowing you to connect your rig and enjoy all its onboard amenities.
  • Various Amperage Options: The park offers a range of electrical hookup options, including 20-amp, 30-amp, and 50-amp sites, catering to the diverse power needs of different RVs. Some sources even indicate 100-amp service, ensuring compatibility for larger rigs.
  • Pull-Through Sites: For ease of access and maneuverability, Harlowe's RV Park offers pull-through sites, making it convenient for even the largest "big rigs" to enter and exit without complex backing procedures.
  • Laundry Room: The park provides a small laundry room, which is a highly valued amenity for both short-term and long-term guests. This allows campers to take care of their laundry on-site, adding to the convenience of their stay. Reviews mention 3 washers and 3 dryers, each costing $1.50 per load.
  • Free Wi-Fi: To help guests stay connected, the park offers free Wi-Fi. However, it's important to note that some past reviews indicate that the Wi-Fi signal can be "spotty" and may not be suitable for demanding tasks like computer work. This is a common challenge in many RV parks, so having a backup internet solution might be advisable if connectivity is critical for you.
  • Limited Channel TV: The park provides access to TV, though it's noted to have limited channels. This is ideal for casual viewing but might not satisfy those looking for extensive channel lineups.
Features / Highlights

Harlowe's RV Park is distinguished by several features that contribute to its appeal, particularly for those seeking a tranquil and well-supported stay.

  • Quiet and Clean Environment: This is a consistent highlight from visitor reviews. The park is described as "quiet and clean," which is a significant advantage for campers looking for a peaceful retreat away from urban noise.
  • Friendly and Helpful Management: Guests frequently commend the manager for being "very helpful" and accommodating. This personal touch and responsiveness can greatly enhance a visitor's experience, providing a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Reviewers note that the owner is very accommodating, even offering to move guests to a quieter site if they are not satisfied.
  • Big Rig Friendly: With pull-through sites and various amperage options, the park is well-equipped to accommodate larger recreational vehicles, making it accessible for a wide range of RVers.
  • Trees and Picnic Tables: The presence of trees provides welcome shade, especially during the warm Texas months. Picnic tables at sites offer a convenient outdoor dining or lounging area, enhancing the camping experience. Some sites, particularly in the "old park" section, offer more tree cover, while a "new section" might have less shade but improved infrastructure.
  • Suitable for Long-Term Stays: The combination of full hookups, laundry facilities, and a quiet environment makes Harlowe's RV Park particularly well-suited for extended stays. Monthly rates are available, making it an economical option for those looking to settle in for a while.
  • Convenient Location to Local Amenities: Despite its quiet nature, the park is close to local stores and restaurants in Early and nearby Brownwood, ensuring guests have easy access to groceries, dining, and other necessities.
Promotions or Special Offers

Harlowe's RV Park offers a transparent pricing structure that includes options for short-term and extended stays, which can be considered a form of promotion for those planning longer visits. Based on publicly available information, typical rates are as follows (though it’s always best to confirm directly with the park, as rates can change):

  • Nightly Rates: For both 30-amp and 50-amp sites, the nightly rate is generally around $30 USD.
  • Weekly Rates: A weekly rate of approximately $175 USD is offered, providing a discount compared to booking seven individual nights.
  • Monthly Rates: For those planning an extended stay, monthly rates are around $300 USD, plus electricity usage (typically around $0.13 per kWh). A $100 deposit is usually required for monthly stays.

While there aren't specific "special offers" beyond these structured rates, the monthly pricing is a significant advantage for long-term residents, offering a cost-effective solution for extended stays in the Early area. We called ahead of time to make reservations. Man who answered said no reason to , they had plenty of spots. When we arrived they stuck us in a overnight spot right by the hwy. for 3 nights. We couldn’t even sit outside and talk much less bbq. The traffic was horribly loud. Looked like nice campground spots with tress further back but we were on a cliche pad with no trees basically right off the hwy. Made camping in a Walmart parking lot look appealing.
