Very nice pool! Some Cabins were brand new, some on the older side. I got an older one and was still not disappointed. Lots of bathrooms around for those with out a restroom. Delivered us some fire wood also! 5 stars.
Aug 27, 2025 · Andrew DriscollGood place cabin could definitely be great. Very clean when walking in (but a friend's family in the cabin next door had a BIG/SMALL 😉 PROBLEM), bathroom surprisingly big (for a cabin) we had 4 twin beds MATTRESS not on twin bed frames, the mattress hung over the side (are group had 6 cabins and this appear to be an issue in cabin 20 BUT on the plus the bed frames were made of heavy steel) HUGE ISSUE he had was water pressure was very inconsistent. I was their for an event were the main reason we stayed here was a shower and was very lucky we had water pressure because that night when we got back it was literally a drip coming out the shower head and the other issue LOCK. Your cabin isn't locked when u get there and u can't lock your cabin. We had a croquet set with us so we could use the stick at night in the sliding door. We had young ladies in are group that had no way to lock their cabin at night. we were there for 4 days and for an event so we had to leave the camp grounds. we had some expensive things with us but had equipment that us had to risk it.
Oct 01, 2024 · Dwight HWent for the holiday weekend it was a wash out of rain. BUT our site didn't flood with water and still enjoyed live music and a DJ .😎... DEFINITELY returning for a sunny weekend 🌞..
Jun 06, 2025 · Brian HahnI loved staying here. The Campground had Great staff and friendly service. They helped me right away when I showed up after the office was closed. Brought fire wood to my site and were very accommodating and informative of the area. The cabin was clean and more spacious than they looked and they keep the showers pretty clean. The views are awesome and there is a boat ramp located at the campground. The cabins range from rustic to fully equipped and there are quite a few to choose from. By far one of my favorite Campgrounds I've ever stayed in. Get a cabin by the edge for a nice view of the river and mountains.
Jul 26, 2023 · Amber WestwoodDOORS DO NOT LOCK. when you leave your cabin your items are susceptible to being stolen. I had to carry around my purse with my wallet and keys as there were packs of **unsupervised** kids/teens roaming the campground. we had booked 3 cabins in a row but when we arrived none of our cabins were directly next to each other. The security guy said we could move into the cabin that was in between two family members cabin (because no one was staying there and that way our family could all be next to each other) well the next day, one of the workers shows up to our cabin (that we moved into per the security guard telling us we could) and apparently it was not communicated that we moved into that cabin and they asked us to remove our items promptly. This caused us a lot of anxiety, we don’t like to stir up any trouble and felt as though we were doing something wrong, even though the security guard did say it was okay for us to move into said cabin. There seems to be a major lack of communication between the employees. That being said they must’ve felt bad or something so they ended up telling us we could move BACK INTO that cabin that the security guard said we could move into- which was nice but we ended up packing and un packing our stuff so many times it was just too much. We utilized the pool, where a child around 8-9 ish years old was terrorizing our group, he called my mother “old” “ugly” , and more heinous and nasty names, we made the life guard aware of this and he was asked to leave the pool. NOT TEN MINUTES LATER he was allowed back into the pool, continuing on with his antics. The dad of the child seemed like he was possibly an employee, because the group he was in we noticed had other employees (it looked like they were having a BBQ or something outside of the pool). Just plain unacceptable. This was our 3rd time camping here for a weekend-so obviously we had previously enjoy coming but this year was definitely our last time staying at Highbanks… the life guards are very sweet but they have absolutely no control over the kids and are allowing these kids to terrorize other camp-goers. The employees could definitely work on more effective communication styles so everyone knows what’s going on rather than one employee saying something to a guest and then the others knowing nothing about it….
