This would include visiting the park at different times of the day, speaking with residents, and meticulously reviewing all lease terms and community rules, paying particular attention to policies on parking, guest conduct, and maintenance responsibilities and associated fees.

Ultimately, the suitability of Highland Greens for locals in Georgia will hinge on whether the benefits of its Athens location and the mobile home ownership model outweigh the challenges reported by current residents. Local neighborhood kids are known for vandalizing the property and leaving trash anywhere they please. Never see any parents watching their kids. People will loiter in your lot. You must own your trailer, but make sure to put up cameras to catch those that trash your property. The community itself is always so busy with traffic and people like to blast their music no matter the time. Oh and get ready to pay fees if you park on the side of the road, even for a few minutes. Yet, there is never anything done to improve the parking lot or make it bigger to actually accommodate the community if people have guests. This place just wants your money and they will go to any means to get it. What do they do with our money? Probably live lavishly themselves because the community sure reflects that nothing is being improved (opened the pool this summer but the closed sign has been up more often than not, the neighborhood kids completely trashed the playground and the community refuses to fix it and put up security, oh and your mail/packages will probably be misdelivered and no one seems to be kind enough to return to the actual receiver these days).

Money hungry extortionists run this park. Don't move here. No one is ever in the office, and they frequently give you notices the same day that action is required. I was charged $50 for my 15 ft yard to be cut, because the man who normally does it (for $20) didn't want to cut wet grass.

Place has gone downhill since the new owners took over. Continuously raising lot rent, adding water, then adding water and sewer, then adding trash, while taking away the park security and never bothering to attempt to better the park at all. Speed bumps are crumbling away, which would be great if the roads weren’t one pothole meeting another pothole. Kids do what they want and spray paint people’s houses and cars. There is so much trash. They could do a lot better. There’s never anyone in the office so you can’t talk to anybody about it either. Don’t get scammed into moving here. You will regret it. Neighbors have always been very nice and cool, some just need to keep a closer eye on their kids.

Quiet ,Clean, and well maintained mobile home community .Just FYI. I did get a ticket for improper parking parking behind the car of the person I was visiting. Very odd, but great idea to make side $ ,unfortunate for visitors or if your any of the inhome service providers just be sure to ask your client about parking.

I was here to visit my uncle. He has lived here for 10 years. He said it's quiet, no problems, good neighbors that look out for each other. Yards all seem to be well kept and neat.
