Hill Country RV Park Burnet About
For RV enthusiasts and those seeking a serene, long-term home base in the heart of the Lone Star State, finding the right RV park is about more than just a spot to park. It's about finding a community, convenience, and a place where you can truly feel at ease. Hill Country RV Park Burnet, located in the charming town of Burnet, Texas, presents itself as a compelling option for those who value quiet living and spacious sites, with the added benefit of being a developing property with future amenities on the horizon.
This brand-new RV park is carving out its niche by offering a simple, peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle often found in larger, more amenity-heavy resorts. While it's in its early stages of development, the foundation is strong: large, level, and fully-equipped sites designed for comfort. For Texans looking for a permanent or extended stay location where they can enjoy the mild Hill Country winters and be close to a myriad of attractions without the high costs associated with extensive, often unused, facilities, Hill Country RV Park Burnet is certainly worth considering. It’s a place where you can watch the community grow and settle into a calm, welcoming environment.
Hill Country RV Park Burnet is located at 307 Co Rd 330, Burnet, TX 78611, USA. This address places it just east of the main hub of Burnet, a central Texas town renowned as the "Bluebonnet Capital of Texas" and a gateway to the beautiful Highland Lakes region. The park's location offers a desirable balance: it provides a quiet, somewhat secluded feel, yet remains conveniently close to the town's amenities and the numerous natural attractions of the Hill Country.
Accessibility to the park requires some specific navigation for larger rigs due to a railroad underpass on CR 330. Rigs under 11 feet in height can easily approach the park from the north via CR 330. However, for RVs 11 feet and taller, it is crucial to approach the park from the south to avoid this underpass. This important detail ensures a smooth arrival for all visitors. Once at the park, residents will find themselves within easy reach of Burnet's local grocery stores, dining options, and other essential services. Furthermore, its central Hill Country location means that popular destinations like Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake State Park, Longhorn Cavern State Park, and Marble Falls are all just a short drive away, making it an excellent base for exploring the region's natural beauty and recreational opportunities. The mild Hill Country winters make this an especially appealing location for those seeking to escape colder climates for extended periods.
Hill Country RV Park Burnet, as a brand-new and developing property, is committed to providing essential services that ensure a comfortable stay, with a focus on future enhancements to further benefit residents.

- Quiet Environment: The park offers a quiet atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a peaceful living experience away from loud traffic or excessive park activity.

- Brand-New Development: Being a newly established RV park means residents can enjoy fresh infrastructure, well-planned layouts, and a clean environment.
- Spacious and Level Sites: The "large level" sites are a significant draw, making set-up easy and providing ample space around your rig, a valuable commodity in many RV parks.
- Partially Shaded Sites: The presence of partial shade is a welcome feature, especially during the warm Texas summers, offering some relief from direct sunlight.
- Quiet and Serene Atmosphere: Consistently noted by residents, the park's quiet nature is a major highlight, providing a tranquil escape for those who value peace and calm in their living environment.
- Proximity to Burnet Town: The park's location just east of Burnet offers easy access to local conveniences, charming restaurants, and unique shops, allowing residents to enjoy small-town life.
- Gateway to Hill Country Attractions: Being situated in Burnet means residents are centrally located to explore numerous Hill Country attractions, including Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake State Park, Longhorn Cavern State Park, and various wineries, offering endless recreational opportunities.

- Long-Term Community Focus: The park seems to attract a community of long-term residents, fostering a stable and potentially friendly neighborhood for those looking to settle in for an extended period.
As a newer RV park that seems to cater to long-term residents, Hill Country RV Park Burnet may not advertise frequent short-term promotions like larger, resort-style parks. However, its value proposition is clear, especially for extended stays.
- Competitive Long-Term Rates: The primary "special offer" here is likely its affordability for monthly or extended stays, particularly when compared to parks with more extensive, but often unused, amenities. The focus is on providing good value for a peaceful, well-serviced site.
- Value of Essential Services: The provision of large, level, full hookup 50 amp sites is the core offering, which for many long-term RVers is exactly what they need, without paying for extras they don't desire.
- Developing Amenities: The promise of a laundry room currently under construction and planned bathhouse facilities represents a future enhancement that will add value to current and prospective residents' stays without necessarily increasing initial costs. This can be seen as an investment in the resident experience.

It’s nestled in the heart of the picturesque Hill Country, providing stunning natural beauty and a milder winter climate – a huge plus for "Winter Texans" or those simply looking to escape the extreme heat of other parts of the state during summer. The proximity to numerous Highland Lakes, state parks, and other outdoor recreational opportunities means there's always something to do, whether it's fishing, hiking, exploring caverns, or enjoying local wineries. Yet, it maintains a quiet, suburban feel, allowing residents to enjoy their personal space without the constant bustle of a highly trafficked park.
The fact that it's a newer park means residents benefit from modern hookups and the promise of upcoming amenities like a laundry room and bathhouse, which will only enhance the living experience. The management's reported availability via call or text, even without constant on-site presence, indicates a commitment to resident support, fostering a comfortable and hassle-free stay. For those who prioritize a quiet community, large sites, and a strategic location for exploring the best of Central Texas, while valuing affordability over extensive, unutilized amenities, Hill Country RV Park Burnet stands out as a highly suitable and emerging option for calling the Texas Hill Country home.
Customer Reviews
Not quite what we expected according to the website and after talking to the manager. Very small and close sites with NO amenities. Rather unkept. Seems to be more of a permanent location for some. Unable to take credit cards. No on-site personnel which would be okay if they were available via call or text. Not a good fit for us.
This quiet, partially shaded, brand-new RV park just east of Burnet offers large level, 50 AMP full hookup sites. Amenities are coming. Currently a laundry room is under construction. Bath house facilities are planned. Access to the park is easy for shorter rigs, under 11 feet due to a railroad underpass located on CR 330 just north of the park. Rigs 11 feet and taller will need to approach the park from the south. We spent four months at Hill Country RV Park and enjoyed our stay. Close to town and many Hill Country attractions, it is the perfect place to enjoy a mild Hill Country winter.
