JayDeez Mobile homeTransport LLC;Foley, Jethro E, President, agent and member About

For Kentuckians considering moving a manufactured home, understanding the complexities of mobile home transport services is crucial. Unlike conventional real estate, mobile homes, by their very nature, are designed to be moved. However, this process requires specialized equipment, expertise, and adherence to state regulations. JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC, based in Grand Rivers, KY, identifies itself as a provider of such services, with Jethro E. Foley listed as President, agent, and member.

The decision to relocate a mobile home, whether to a new lot, a different community, or even across state lines, involves more than just loading it onto a truck. It encompasses careful preparation, securing necessary permits, professional detachment and reattachment of utilities, and precise leveling and blocking at the new site. These are all critical steps that ensure the structural integrity of the home and its safety for future occupancy. For Kentucky residents, navigating these requirements often means relying on professional transporters who claim to understand the nuances of the process.

The concept of a "mobile home park" typically refers to a community where manufactured homes are placed on rented lots. However, JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC's provided information and associated reviews indicate that their primary service is mobile home transport, not the operation of a mobile home park itself. This distinction is important for Kentuckians researching housing solutions. While a mobile home park provides a place to live, a mobile home transport company facilitates the movement of the home to or from such a park, or any other approved location.

When engaging with any service provider for such a significant undertaking, especially in a specialized field like mobile home transport, it is paramount for Kentucky residents to conduct thorough due diligence. This includes verifying licenses, understanding contracts fully, and researching customer feedback. The process of moving a manufactured home is a substantial investment, both financially and in terms of the home's condition, making the choice of a reliable transporter a critical step.

This article aims to provide an overview of the services JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC identifies itself with and to offer general guidance on what Kentuckians should consider when seeking mobile home transport services. It is based on the provided data, emphasizing the need for consumers to gather all necessary information directly from the service provider and to exercise caution based on publicly available reviews.

Location and Accessibility

JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC's corporate office is listed at 761B Chaney Street, Grand Rivers, KY 42045, USA. Grand Rivers is a small, charming town located in Livingston County, in the western part of Kentucky. It is strategically positioned within the "Land Between the Lakes" region, bordered by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

The location in Grand Rivers offers reasonable accessibility for providing services across western Kentucky and potentially beyond. Grand Rivers is well-connected via state routes and is relatively close to major transportation arteries. Interstate 24 (I-24) is a primary interstate highway that runs through western Kentucky, connecting to larger cities like Paducah to the west and Nashville, Tennessee, to the southeast. Access to I-24 would facilitate the transport of mobile homes to various parts of Kentucky and neighboring states. While 761B Chaney Street specifies an office location, the nature of mobile home transport means operations are conducted across a wider service area, dependent on client needs and logistical capabilities. For Kentuckians seeking mobile home transport, the Grand Rivers location serves as the administrative base for this company.

Services Offered

Based on the company name "JayDeez Mobile homeTransport LLC" and the provided customer reviews, the primary service offered by this entity is the transportation of mobile homes (also known as manufactured homes). This specialized service typically involves several key components:

  • Mobile Home Transportation: The physical relocation of manufactured homes from one site to another. This involves specialized heavy-haul trucking equipment.
  • Site Preparation Assistance: While not explicitly detailed as a service, the reviews mention the placement of "piers" and "blocking and leveling." This suggests that beyond just transport, the service may include initial setup aspects at the new location, such as foundational support (piers, blocks) and leveling the home to prepare it for occupancy.
  • Utility Disconnection/Reconnection Coordination: A full mobile home transport service often involves the professional disconnection of utilities (water, sewer, electric) at the old site and their re-connection at the new site. While not directly stated for JayDeez, this is a standard part of comprehensive mobile home moving.
  • Permit Acquisition Guidance: Moving a mobile home requires specific permits from state and local authorities. Reputable transporters assist in identifying and securing these necessary permits.

It is crucial for any potential customer to discuss the exact scope of services, including what is and is not covered, directly with JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC to ensure clarity and avoid misunderstandings.

Features / Highlights

Based on the provided information, the key features and purported highlights of JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC, from a service provision perspective, would ideally include:

  • Specialized Mobile Home Transport: The core feature is the ability to move large manufactured homes, which requires specialized trucks, trailers, and handling techniques.
  • Local Presence in Grand Rivers, KY: Being based in Grand Rivers offers a local point of contact for residents in western Kentucky, potentially providing convenience for area-specific moves.
  • Customer Interaction: The company president, Jethro E. Foley, is identified as a direct point of contact, suggesting a potentially personal approach to client interactions.
  • Focus on Relocation: The business appears to be dedicated solely to the intricate process of mobile home relocation, rather than being a general moving company.

It is important for prospective clients to consider all available public information when evaluating these features. Due to the critical nature of mobile home transport, verifying licenses, insurance, and the detailed scope of services directly with the company is paramount.

Promotions or Special Offers

As a specialized transport service provider, JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC is unlikely to offer traditional "promotions" in the way a retail business might. Instead, the "offers" are inherent in the service model and pricing structure for mobile home relocation.

  • Customized Quotes: The cost of moving a mobile home varies significantly based on factors such as the size and age of the home, the distance of the move, site conditions, and specific setup requirements. Therefore, the primary "offer" is a customized quote tailored to the individual's specific transport needs.
  • Direct Negotiation: Given the highly specialized nature of mobile home transport, pricing is often negotiated directly between the client and the company, rather than being based on published promotional rates.

Prospective clients should directly contact JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC to request a detailed, written estimate for their specific mobile home transport needs. It is advisable to obtain multiple quotes from different licensed and insured mobile home transport companies in Kentucky to compare pricing, services included, and timelines. This practice helps ensure competitive pricing and clarity on the scope of work. Based on provided customer reviews, it is especially important to clarify all costs, payment terms, and completion timelines upfront and in writing.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

When considering mobile home transport, Kentuckians need services that are reliable, professional, and knowledgeable about the specific regulations and logistical challenges within the state. JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC, based in Grand Rivers, KY, positions itself as a local provider for these specialized needs. For residents in western Kentucky, having a locally based company for mobile home relocation can offer the perceived convenience of a regional service provider who might be familiar with local conditions and routes.

The need for mobile home transport arises for various reasons, whether it’s purchasing a new home to place on a private lot, relocating an existing home to a different mobile home park, or moving within the state for personal reasons. In such situations, the core service offered by JayDeez — the physical movement and initial placement of manufactured homes — addresses a very specific and essential requirement for mobile home owners.

However, it is critically important for Kentucky locals to approach the engagement with JayDeez Mobile Home Transport LLC, or any mobile home mover, with thorough due diligence. Publicly available reviews raise significant concerns regarding communication, service completion, and payment practices. Therefore, suitability hinges entirely on the client's ability to ensure clear, written contracts that detail all services, costs, timelines, and contingencies. Kentuckians should prioritize verifying the company's licensing and insurance with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction. Obtaining multiple written quotes, speaking with references, and avoiding upfront full payments are standard best practices for securing reliable moving services. While the need for mobile home transport exists, and a local presence might be appealing, the decision to engage this particular service provider should be made with extreme caution and comprehensive verification to protect one's investment and ensure satisfactory completion of the job.

We sold our mobile home and the purchasers contacted Jay Foley a/k/a Jethro Foley to move it as soon a possible. He promised to do so the following week. That was August. He took their money and now won’t return calls or texts.

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY TO DO ANYTHING!! Jethro talked us into giving him all the money for moving our trailer upfront, but he only did half the job. He got our trailer to our lot and put two piers under the front of the it. He promised us when we left the lot that day that he would have the trailer blocked and leveled before he left. As of a week and a half later it still had two piers under the front. He usually doesn’t answer the phone. If he does answer, he either tells us he will be at the lot in an hour, then doesn’t show up, or he gives us some excuse. His truck, his other truck, or something is always broken, so he can’t make it. He has told three times that the starter on his truck was broken and he is replacing it!!

Mr. Jethro is a very wonderful and kind man. He is very helpful and willing to work around a flexible schedule and has done above and beyond on moving me and my wife's trailer. He is so good at communicating and having everything done on a timely manner. But most importantly he is one of the kindest men we have ever met to be as helpful as he was. Me and my wife are very grateful for his services and time and his crew. Thank you Mr. Jethro for helping us getting into a better place. And I wish you luck for whatever the future will hold. And we will call you for everything now I am honored to say that Jethro moved our home❤️
