We'll delve into its strategic location in Lake Charles, detail the services it offers, and highlight the features that make it unique. We will also incorporate valuable insights from real customer reviews, offering a balanced perspective on what to expect. Our goal is to equip local users in Louisiana with the information they need to determine if Kershaw's Cajun Village is the perfect spot for their next outdoor adventure or extended stay.

Location and Accessibility

Kershaw's Cajun Village is conveniently located at 3375 E Prien Lake Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70615, USA. This address places the campground in a prime area within Lake Charles, offering an excellent balance of natural surroundings and urban convenience. Prien Lake Road is a significant thoroughfare, providing easy access to various parts of the city and beyond.

One of the notable advantages of its location is the accessibility to essential services and entertainment. The campground is within walking or jogging distance to major retailers like Walmart, numerous restaurants, and various shopping centers. This means campers can quickly stock up on supplies, enjoy a meal out, or engage in some retail therapy without needing to drive far.

Furthermore, its proximity to Lake Charles means residents have quick access to the city's popular attractions. These include the thriving casino resorts, the beautiful Prien Lake Park, various museums, and a vibrant downtown area. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the region offers opportunities for fishing, birding, and exploring the unique Louisiana wetlands.

While the location offers immense convenience, it's worth noting that being on a main road and potentially near I-10 can lead to some ambient noise, as mentioned by a reviewer. However, for many, the benefits of being so close to amenities far outweigh this consideration. The blend of nature, as described by a reviewer noting "nature, it's all around you out here and has a nice trail to hike around on," with urban convenience, makes Kershaw's Cajun Village strategically positioned for a diverse range of campers.

Promotions or Special Offers

For Kershaw's Cajun Village, specific, publicly advertised "promotions or special offers" like seasonal discounts or loyalty programs are not widely detailed in the provided public information. However, the nature of the park and its owner's direct involvement suggest that value and affordability are central to its offering. • Direct Inquiry Benefits: Given the owner's "helpful" and "nice" nature, contacting Rodney directly (via the provided phone number) might open the door to discussing specific needs and potential flexible arrangements for longer stays or unique situations. This personal touch could translate into bespoke "offers" not publicly advertised.

Love it here. It's affordable and the people here are very welcoming. The owner, Rodney, is very helpful, nice, and an all out great person. He is very involved in the community, and he cares about the needs of the people that stay here. He has fabulous plans going on right now of improving the camp. He has full hook ups in many spots, and he is expanding so he can offer more. He is building a pavilion to have live music or other types of gatherings. He is also in the process of building restrooms. You would do yourself a favor by staying here. Kershaw's Village offers you to be able to stay long term if you are here working or whatever your situation. If you like nature, it's all around you out here and has a nice trail to hike around on. Yet, the camp is walking distance, or jogging, to Walmart, restaurants, and shopping centers. Day rates are affordable. Give Rodney a call. You'll be glad you did.

Quiet until theres a band playing on a weekend and then you can forget getting any sleep. Too crowded! Too many spaces way too close together. U barely have room to park your car between the space your camper sits between the camper in front of you.

Descent campground thats nice and quite. You can get cable and wifi. Residents are very friendly. No other amenities. It would be better if they had a laundry room on site but there's a nice one less than a mile away. They really need a pool/playground that would make this 5 stars rating.
