I purchased my first home that resided in kings court at 21 years old. It is centrally located in Traverse City and at the start, lot rent was very reasonably priced. They added internet to the lot rent bill which was nice. After 9 years of living there, our rent only increased by $320 only, and we paid an additional cost for month to month leasing. All and all, we went to sell our home through kings court. Jennifer is an Angel. She changed the trajectory of our future by helping us more than she knows. She was able to broker the home for a good price after we made improvements. If you see this Jenn, you truely changed our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
May 09, 2025 · space manWe have lived at Kings Court for a couple years now. We have a beautiful home in a very desireable location. As with any community living experience there are always great neighbors and some that need attention. The facilities and amenities are outstanding. It always comes down to you. You can make living here what you desire. You can be negative or you can help make it as desireable as you wish. I think the folks that offer complaints are folks that just don't have the desire to make it desireable for them. Bottomline. Yes. Managers come and go. But. Kings Court is generally well run and the Office are willing to make improvements as needed to make living in this community as reasonably desireable as needed. It is very expensive to live in Traverse City. Kings Court is a needed housing community. All things considered we are very pleased with our overall housing needs. The location is superb with nearby Boardman River walking distance away. Can bike anywhere from here as well. All the folks living here have the right to make it a great community. I would suggest that folks interested in living in this community should not be scared away from some of the more negative Reviews. It likely folks that complain about anything.

Jan 02, 2025 · Steve DombrowskiIf you ever wanted to experience what it’s like to live in an episode of "The Office" but with less charm and more passive-aggressive notes, this is your place. The management here has mastered the art of being unreachable, but they’re always *just* close enough to leave a passive-aggressive letter on your door about how your fairy lights are "too festive." Yes, because nothing says "serious community" like telling people they can’t enjoy their string lights. Speaking of rules, here’s a fun one: the grass. Apparently, there’s a one-inch grass rule, because I guess they’re preparing for a golf course competition that nobody told us about. God forbid your lawn is too lush—someone might get distracted by the beauty of it. And don’t even get me started on their "organization." They’ll ask you for the same paperwork five times. It’s almost like they lose it on purpose, just to see if you can stay sane long enough to hand it in again. They’ll swear they’ve never received it, and then somehow you'll have to submit it for the sixth time before they finally admit, "Oh, we found it." It’s like they think you’re out here collecting documents for fun. At this point, the only thing consistent about this place is the lack of consistency. If you love living in a place that treats you like a nuisance, refuses to answer phone calls, and thinks it’s a good idea to dictate the exact height of your grass, congratulations, you’ve found the promised land.

May 06, 2024 · Mal MoriaThe bottom line is it is a good place to live. It's not perfect but it is one of the best mobile home parks I know of. The park is continually doing repairs and upgrades to their facilities. They regularly pull out older mobile homes that have fallen into some disrepair and are bringing in brand new homes. In the last year they have added a dog park, a children's playground, and done extensive remodeling to the physical fitness facilities among other things.
