This location offers an excellent balance between being easily accessible for residents across the state and providing a peaceful, rural setting ideal for a campground.

For those traveling from major Indiana cities, Eaton is within a reasonable driving distance. We arrived at the very end of their season, but were welcomed by the owner. Not a fancy spot, but very small, clean and private. If you're looking for swimming, fishing, campfires...it can't be beat. Didn't even need to look for firewood, kindling and logs neatly arranged just feet from our site. Firepit next to the water, and a lovely little deck overlooking the water, with a table and 4 chairs waiting for us. Owner Jim was very welcoming and the area is spotless. Kids will love the rope swing into the lake, which is pristine, fed by underground streams.

We do our family reunions here and we have been for decades. It's a beautiful place with natural scenery; nestled away from the sounds of the city. Awesome fishing and public bathrooms/showers and electric hookups. I also go primitive... Prices are fair as well
