Wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the new "Ledges" area and it was great! Sites are level with full hook ups and very well spaced apart. They are set up for handicap/disabled people with protected fire pits, modified picnic tables and very level ground. Yup, it has small crushed gravel to walk on, and yes it will get in your rig but that's camping!!!! If ya can't deal with that, don't go camping! Just my 2 cents! We will be back when in the area. Enjoy your stay. We did!!
May 17, 2025 · Lawrence PasierbIt was a perfect place for me to make my base camp while riding the D&H rail trail. Cabin 25 is small, clean, and within a reasonable walk to the bathhouse. The bathhouse itself is newer and pretty clean. The showers aren’t great—hot water is slow and doesn’t get very hot, stall is small and made smaller by the encroaching curtain—but they’ll get the basic job done. I was there Memorial Day weekend, so it should have been pretty busy, but didn’t feel loud and chaotic at all. If you don’t see notice anywhere else, cabin access is contactless, so you don’t need to stop at a park office or anything, just go right to the cabin you rented and you’ll be good to go.
Jun 07, 2025 · Mat WellerGreat place to get away from the city, slow down and enjoy nature. Cabins are comfortable with bunk beds, table & couple chairs. They have covered porch with picnic table, as well as parking pad and fire pit. Also have RV sites and a couple yurts. Trails, boat rental and pool too. Worth a visit if coming to the area or just looking for a new outdoor adventure.
Sep 06, 2025 · L StanleyVery relaxing, the area is clean, and pets friendly, lots of available parking space, so many activities to do here, from kayaking to biking, camping, picnic and swimming.
Jul 19, 2025 · Maybelle “Penniless tourist.” ZotomayorStayed in the new full hook up area. Sites were big and roomy. However, the water pressure is ridiculously low, as well as the pads have rocks which get tracked into your camper. Not impressed, will not be back.
