Let me say, the staff in the store were polite and the scenery is exceptional, this place has boundless potential. We went over Memorial Day weekend, for tent camping. I didn't really feel like it was a family atmosphere, more like a giant lake party. Loud trucks revving their engines, loud partying and yelling, loud music, the smell of weed being smoked everywhere, dogs off lead, well after their established "quite time", it was about 1 am or so before it was "quite". The bathrooms and showers could use a lot of attention. Our site was 30 - 40 feet, through some trees, from the dumpsters which contributed to pests. The site was a bit cramped, the neighboring tenants had their vehicles parked in our site when we arrived. Beware, the firepits, water, and electric are shared between the sites, inconvenient, but it's there and works. In my 20s, this would've been the place to be, just not with the family looking for some quite. Overall, there's little to no enforcement of their own rules and the lack of care taken in the facilities are the biggest concerns. Not saying I would never go back, but it would be a last resort.

This is our first stay here and it was great. The bungalow we stayed in was cozy. Plenty of space. It came with some dishes which was nice. The view of the water was beautiful. We had plenty of areas to fish. They offer kayak rentals which was nice. The service was excellent. Crystal was nice and very helpful. The store/ restaurant was small but seemed to have all the things you needed to go fishing. The food tasted delicious The campground itself was clean and quiet. We will be back for sure

This was our first trip to this park and overall it was wonderful! The bathrooms were super clean and always stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels. Hot water too! You must have a code to get into the bathrooms and I loved that. We had breakfast once from the kitchen and the food was great! We ate on the covered porch overlooking the water and it was a fantastic place to catch some shade and a breeze and look at the lake. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and very nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because we tent camped and all of those sites could use some maintenance. Drainage flows through those spots at the back of the park and are washed out quite a bit. With a little work those camping spots could be 5 stars. We fished all weekend and the lake access for our boat at the ramp was great. Parking at the ramp was a bit of an issue but it was a holiday weekend and packed with people so that was to be expected. Overall it was a great first trip here for us and we will definitely be back!

Our original rv spot was very small and the electricity did not work. We realized that after we had already unhooked our camper. The lady was super nice and moved us to a different spot. The flies were horrible which I know is just part of nature. The restrooms are nice, clean, and the showers were awesome. We also used the small laundry room which was nice to have. Fishing on the boat was a bit tricky because that lake is way too stumpy for our liking. Overall, we had a good time
