Went to this campground as a older kid and loved it back around 1990 visited again around 2000 as an adult and loved it 24 years later made a reservation, checked in, drove through , located campsite, and pulled right on out of there… we could not stay… I’m so shocked that they call this campground an encore campground… wow how it has changed… honestly it looks like a camper trailer park… most of the sites are apparently annual sites… they are mostly junked up and not taken care of… our view would have been a run down camper that looks likes it been there for 30 years and a couple massive piles of sticks and old furniture that’s not in use and old wheel barrels piled up… I was so looking forward to camping here after all the great memories I had 20 plus years ago but it is really junked up and run down… all the pictures they have on website are old… the putt putt is run down bad carpet lifted and torn… campground needs a makeup…needs to be removed from the encore list unfortunately… so sad and disappointing…my husband did say the staff that checked him in was very nice

HUGE BEES NEST, in the ground, right outside our door! No internet as listed, and I was there on a work vacation. Only 14 channels available out of 40 something listed. Could not get in gate and there was nobody there to help. Toilet not bolted correctly so it wobbled. Overall, service was awful !!!!!

The office lady is a total nightmare. Only time she was nice to us is when we first got here and that’s only cause her manager was behind her. Now that the manager is on vacation Alicia is SO RUDE. My husband went to the office to get our propane tanks filled. She was so rude and told him to wait in the truck for maintenance, then she went to lunch and never even called them!! He ended up taking the tanks somewhere else. I loved this place at first. We were looking into staying annually!! It’s sad that one person can totally ruin it. There are so many deserving people that would LOVE to have a job like Alicia. Including myself!! And Alicia if you ever see this I hope you can learn to greet people with kindness and compassion. You should be smiling and welcoming every person that comes through that door. Aside from that everyone else living here is really nice. The maintenance guys are awesome as well as the housekeeper. The manager was so sweet in trying to get us booked longer. Kudos to Sam as well for hooking us up with firewood! But 2 stars is all I have considering the one person running the place clearly hates her job.

This campground is extremely dated. The "golf course" looked as if it hadn't been touched in decades. The pool decking is all old and flaking. Pool is not blue. Many many permanent residents. People where nice. But not as shown in pictures and campsites are small and hard to get too. Had to leave campground and go around to go to the pool. Definitely not as the websites portrays. Was the July 16 -18th.
