Customer Reviews
This is a small, tight knit campground but everyone was incredibly friendly. Starting with the fact that they accepted us even though we are under 55 years old. They were very accommodating even when we had a big rig and lots of equipment. They went out of their way to make sure we found a hamper that I accidentally left behind. It was of course in safe keeping’s until they knew who to return it to. The residents were all very nice and welcoming. I was thankful for the new management and how they accommodated us from Check in, through our stand and until check out. If you needed anything they were helpful and they were very informative on community events, games , etc and when they where happening.
Desiree and Joey are the nicest and most helpful folks you can imagine. They really went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we had a safe and comfortable stay. And if you want to know where to eat or what to do in Lake Placid, they’ve got you covered!
We discovered Lake Placid Campground when we broke down evacuating from a hurricane. Desire and Joey went above and beyond anyone could ask for to make sure we were safe! They let us know what all the campground has to offer, which is a lot. The campground is a cute, friendly place to stay and SOO quiet! Thanks again Desire and Joey for all your kindness, you guys are the best!!
Such an amazing campground. I’m traveling in my bus and having issues and me not being 55 or older they allowed me to come stay here for 3 nights until I could get into the mechanic. The sweet lady in the office has checked on me daily because I was upset upon arrival (stressed about the bus)….I was also invited to karaoke and taco Tuesday! Super exciting. Everyone I’ve met have been extremely kind and I will definitely come visit whenever I’m in the area. Thank you so much for the awesome hospitality 💛😘
Awesome place! Owner is understanding and punctual for requests! Situated next to a pretty lake with water access! Would recommend for any age!
