This place is a HIDDEN GEM just 45 minutes outside of little rock. Meticulously maintained by the STATE... the playground is new, the swim beach has a pier you can jump off of, you can tie in to the Ouachita trail, you can fish, you can kayak, THERE IS WIFI. Amazing campground with friendly staff.
We just spent 3 days there and we loved it! Quiet. Peaceful. Very clean restrooms. Hot showers. And definitely hike up to the dam! There's a beautiful old fireplace and cave on the trail!
This is a gem of a place to come stay at. Beautiful and serene. Very clean and the bed was actually very comfortable. The cons would be no stove for cooking in the cabins and you have to unload and walk your stuff in to the cabin. But they have carts to use. We will be back!
This is a nice quite camp ground, was not busy when I went there. Clean bathrooms and they have power and water at certain spots, 1-14 I believe. You can buy some gravel roads right off the campsite if you're looking for some offroading. I will definitely be back.
Beautiful Park with cool trails, a neat cave and a big dam. Nice campsite with all the fixins.
