came here for the 2024 total eclipse. the owners spotted me looking lost and offered an extremely affordable stay when every hotel in the area was charging $500+ for a night, profiting off the excitement. they did not do the same out of the kindness in their heart. in fact, I think I stayed two nights for less than $20. I slept in my car and they offered a quiet spot for me to stay alongside the river, absolutely beautiful. nature! later in eclipse day there was some casual local music and a big fire and it was lovely. I was worried about traveling as a lone woman- I had no fear there. they patrol around in their cart and check in often. I think the man's name was bear, but bear is a funny man who will remind you of every dad you've known. as I stayed in my car I cannot attest to any of the rv part, but there was a bathroom to shower in that was a life saver. and the eclipse itself was wonderful, even the part where the neighbor drifted out on his boat and played sun-related music. 😊 I enjoyed my experience. I'm also queer, but I'm not sure how visibly I am- I still felt a bit safe. that's worth a million words, but I will say thank you either way. worth the stay. accompanied is a photo of an eclipse and how dark it got during daytime, for those curious!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful experience. Gwen and her husband are very nice and accommodating! Beautiful spots right on the Arkansas River and very close to Petit Jean State Park, minutes away from lookouts and waterfalls! If you want to stay here on the ground Gwen rents out the bus, she allowed us to walk through it! Can’t recommend this place enough! We will be back! 😁
