Location and Accessibility
Lincoln Road RV Park is situated at 710 NE Lincoln Rd, Idabel, OK 74745, USA. Idabel, a town in McCurtain County, Oklahoma, is located in the southeastern part of the state, not far from the Texas and Arkansas borders. This makes it a potential stop for travelers on various routes through the South Central United States. The park's position on Lincoln Road places it within the general vicinity of Idabel's local services and roadways.
Accessibility is a key consideration for any RV park, particularly regarding ease of entry and exit, especially for larger rigs. Lincoln Road RV Park’s access points have been a point of feedback, with some reviews indicating potential challenges with the driveway. It is described as "awful to get into and out of," with a specific warning that RVs are "extremely likely to drag the back end... into the ground very hard" when exiting. This suggests that careful navigation might be required, especially for longer or lower-clearance recreational vehicles. Prospective visitors with larger RVs or trailers should be particularly mindful of this potential access issue.
Despite these access concerns, the park's location in Idabel does offer proximity to local amenities. Idabel provides basic services such as gas stations, convenience stores, and local eateries. For those looking to explore the wider region, Idabel is a gateway to the natural beauty of Southeastern Oklahoma, including attractions like Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park, though these destinations may require a bit of a drive from the park itself. Understanding the driveway conditions is crucial for planning your arrival and departure safely and smoothly at Lincoln Road RV Park.
Services Offered
RV parks generally provide a core set of services designed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. While specific, detailed service lists for Lincoln Road RV Park are not extensively publicized, typical offerings for an RV park often include:
- RV Site Hookups: Most RV parks, including Lincoln Road RV Park, would be expected to offer full hookups. This typically includes connections for electricity (commonly 30-amp and 50-amp options), water, and sewer at each individual site. These are fundamental for any RV stay, allowing campers to utilize their onboard facilities.
- Individual RV Lots: The park provides designated lots where RVs can be parked. The size and type of these lots (e.g., pull-through or back-in) can vary and impact the ease of parking.
- Waste Management: Services for trash disposal are generally available to maintain cleanliness within the park.
- Basic Site Maintenance: While the overall condition of the park's grounds might vary, some level of maintenance for the individual sites and common areas is usually managed by the park.
It's important to note that the level of service and maintenance can significantly impact the overall guest experience. As per some reviews, the park is described as "very small and dirty" and "very very low quality," suggesting that the standards of cleanliness and upkeep for some aspects may be a concern for some visitors. Direct inquiry with the park management is always recommended to confirm specific services and their current condition before booking.
Features / Highlights
Based on the provided customer feedback, Lincoln Road RV Park has a few key features that stand out, both positive and areas that prospective visitors should be aware of:
- Shade Trees: A notable positive feature highlighted by a reviewer is the presence of "shade trees." These can be a significant benefit, especially during Oklahoma's warmer months, providing natural cooling and a more pleasant outdoor environment for campers. Shade can also help reduce the need for constant air conditioning in your RV.
- Owner/Office Staff Interaction: Despite criticisms regarding the park's condition, one reviewer mentioned that the "office guy was very nice and helpful." This suggests that interpersonal interactions with the park staff can be a positive aspect of the experience, offering a friendly welcome and assistance when needed. However, another review mentions an owner who "doesn't allow airstreams," which indicates specific restrictions or preferences that potential guests with certain RV types should confirm.
- Small Park Size: The park is described as "very small." For some RVers, a smaller park can offer a quieter, more intimate atmosphere compared to large, bustling resorts. However, a small size combined with reported issues could also mean limited amenities or maneuverability.
- Driveway Challenges: A highly emphasized feature, though negative, is the "awful" and "very very horrible" driveway. This specific detail about the likelihood of RVs "drag the back end... into the ground very hard" upon exit is a critical piece of information for any RV owner, particularly those with longer or lower-clearance vehicles. This suggests a significant accessibility challenge that requires careful consideration.
- Overall Quality Concerns: Reviewers have characterized the park as "dirty" and of "very very low quality," advising others to "push a bit further and find somewhere in broken bow if u can." This indicates that the general upkeep and amenities may not meet the expectations of all RVers.
Given the mixed and strongly worded feedback, potential visitors are advised to consider these points carefully and, if possible, conduct a personal visit to assess the conditions firsthand, particularly regarding the driveway and overall cleanliness, before committing to a stay.
Promotions or Special Offers
Based on the publicly available information, there are no specific promotions or special offers currently advertised for Lincoln Road RV Park. RV parks, especially smaller ones, often do not heavily publicize discount programs or seasonal deals on widespread platforms. Their pricing structure typically reflects the standard rates for their basic services.
However, it is always a good practice for prospective guests to contact the park directly to inquire about any potential offers. While not guaranteed, some RV parks might provide:
- Weekly or Monthly Rates: For longer stays, some parks offer discounted rates compared to nightly charges.
- First-Time Visitor Discounts: Occasionally, new guests might receive a small discount on their initial stay.
- Senior or Military Discounts: Some establishments offer discounts to specific groups.
- Off-Season Rates: During less busy periods, there might be slight reductions in pricing.
Given the feedback about the park's overall quality, it is unlikely that extensive promotions would be the primary draw. Nevertheless, direct communication via phone at (580) 212-7591 or +1 580-212-7591 is the best way to ascertain current pricing and any potential deals that might be available for your intended stay at Lincoln Road RV Park.

Conclusion: Why This Place is Suitable for Locals
For some locals in Idabel, Oklahoma, or those passing through with specific needs and expectations, Lincoln Road RV Park might serve a particular purpose, albeit with important considerations. Its suitability largely depends on individual priorities and tolerance for certain conditions, as highlighted by existing feedback.
One of the primary factors for locals to consider is its potential as a very basic, no-frills option. For RV owners who prioritize affordability above extensive amenities or pristine conditions, and who are simply looking for a place to hook up their RV for a short period, Lincoln Road RV Park could potentially fit that niche. The presence of shade trees is a genuine benefit in Oklahoma’s climate, offering natural comfort that can be appreciated by those seeking refuge from the sun without necessarily needing resort-style features.
Furthermore, for those who value direct and friendly interaction with management, the feedback about a "very nice and helpful" "office guy" indicates a positive aspect of the park's operation. This personal touch can be a significant advantage in a smaller park setting, allowing for easier communication regarding your stay. If you are a local facing an immediate need for an RV spot in Idabel and are able to overlook aesthetic imperfections, a direct conversation with the manager might clarify if the available sites meet your immediate, fundamental requirements.
However, it is crucial for potential local users to be fully aware of the reported "disadvantages," particularly the "awful" driveway and the overall "low quality" and "dirty" descriptions. These concerns are significant and should not be overlooked. For those with larger or lower-clearance RVs, the driveway issue alone could render the park unsuitable. Therefore, while it may offer a rudimentary spot to park and hook up, local residents are strongly advised to temper their expectations, perhaps even performing a drive-by assessment before committing, to ensure it aligns with their specific needs for a transient or very short-term stay in Idabel, Oklahoma. It could serve as a functional, very basic option if other, higher-quality alternatives are unavailable or outside of one's budget.
Customer Reviews
This park is very small and dirty. It does have shade trees which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. The driveway is awful to get into and out of. ....on your way out you are extremely likely to drag the back end of your rv into the ground very hard. I don't like giving bad reviews but I respect others in rvs and trailers and want them to be expecting what we were not. Having said that the "office" guy was very nice and helpful...it is just a very very low quality rv park. Mainly just the driveway is very very horrible. I just wish I had known what we were driving into so now you know. If possible push a bit further and find somewhere in broken bow if u can
The owner doesn't allow airstreams 🤔 soon after that fact we had hauled it up an parked it in the lot with money in hand 🫰🖕
Very good place to spend a night a few nights or longer , they will work with you , if you work with them.
