Customer Reviews
We stayed here overnight through Boondockers Welcome. Was a great, rural place to stay. Very quiet, beautiful pine trees, and the small fee for full hooks was a nice addition to the stay. Doug was a great host. Met us at the gate in the dark to direct us to our site. Enjoyed our visit with Heather and Doug over morning coffee. We will be back next time we are in the area.
Doug, Heather and their children went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We were evacuating Louisiana during Hurricane Francine. Doug and Heather responded quickly to our request to stay and even extented our stay the extra day we needed. We enjoyed sitting and getting to know our host, while in the peaceful surroundings. Our eight year old grandson made friends quickly with the owner's children. They swam, played soccer and on our last day there, the guys and kids had a fun game of baseball before we headed back home. We are so greatful for their hospitality in our time of need and will definitely return again.
FROM: Harvest Host / Boondockers Welcome A slice of tranquility These hosts have traveled extensively. They have a fantastically private and well maintained spot, and they are extremely hospitable. If you are looking for a quick stop over this is absolutely the place.
Had a wonderful experience at Pleasant Hill Pines campground near Haworth OK. Doug and Heather were so welcoming, helpful and great people to talk to. They even alerted us when the Northern Lights were visible - they went above and beyond. Highly recommend and we will be back again. Ed, Cheryl and Kenny Jeanes
Nice quiet place and very friendly host. I had a good time talking to him and he pointed me to a good spot to discover the local wildlife. If I’m in the neighborhood I will stop again.
