The management of our losing water pressure is a constant problem and is unsatisfactory. When you call management you get shut down and get no answers to your questions. I would not recommend a dog to move in here. As soon as I can find a new nice place to move to l will. Most people here are great but there are people in this complex that act like they are still in mid school. A girl's locker room comes to mind. Water system I was told was new. All I see are more new problems. When I moved in here 2 years ago I was told Hometown provides water, sewage and garage pick up. Problem areas manager changes and water pressure lost nd garage pick up ,

This place was clean and the office personel was very knowable and friendly. We went on a whim and they welcomed us with open arms. The people are friendly many of whom stopped by to drop off their payment. We toured the grounds and some new and used homes. While there we received a copy of the bylaws. Little Manatee Springs is backed against Little Manatee State Park which is a plus to the area, there is also kayaking on the Little Manatee River.

My uncle John Bodden built this mobile home park. He was very good humored, warm, and always had the most plesant take on things. His parents, my grandparents, lived in and managed FL mobile home courts after moving there in 1950, for health reasons. John learned what makes mobile home living good and created that at LMS. Besides creating a lovely, organized environment John strove to give everyone a feeling of belonging while he slowly added to Little Manatee Springs, mobile homes, tree lined streets (all named after cirtus), a great clubhouse and pool, & of course the golf course. Had to have that! So many great stories of the beginnings, friends and fun. The evening “Margarita shack” after a hard day! And my now 93 yo mother still lives there. John has since passed away but left a legacy of a lovely, warm and thoughtful community where one found belonging, kindness, John’s charm & quick wit and great fun (oh those clubhouse parties headed up by John and his harmonica on stage!). More humble than braggert, John didn’t name his park after himself, John Bodden. A shame because John richly deserves that credit. -Jen Botto (Weller)
