While the goal of any RV park is to provide a positive experience, customer reviews can shed light on areas of both strength and potential concern. One review indicates that the park is "nicer than most" and that the website might have outdated pricing information. This same review also highlighted a restrictive policy regarding dog breeds, suggesting that pet owners should clarify breed policies directly with the park before arrival. Another review detailed a negative experience with a manager regarding parking, citing rudeness and poor customer service. Location and Accessibility

Log Cabin RV Park is strategically located at 3550 US Hwy 190 W, Jasper, TX 75951, USA. This position on a major U.S. highway makes it incredibly accessible for RVers traveling through or to the East Texas region. US Highway 190 is a significant artery that connects Jasper to other key areas, including Woodville to the west and across to Louisiana to the east, providing a straightforward route for navigation.

The park's direct frontage or very close proximity to US Hwy 190 ensures ease of entry and exit for RVs of all sizes, minimizing the challenges often associated with maneuvering large vehicles on less-traveled roads. This high level of accessibility is a major benefit for those arriving late at night, as noted in one review, or for those who prioritize quick access to major travel routes.

Its location provides a balance of convenience for travel and proximity to both town amenities and significant natural attractions.

Services Offered

Log Cabin RV Park, as an RV park, primarily offers essential services focused on providing necessary infrastructure for RVs. Based on typical operations of such parks and general expectations, the following services would generally be available:

  • RV Site Rentals: The core service includes providing designated spaces for recreational vehicles. These sites are typically available for both short-term overnight stays and extended, long-term occupancy.
  • Utility Hookups: Each RV site is equipped with the fundamental utility connections required for a comfortable RV stay. These typically include:
    • Electricity: Access to electrical pedestals, commonly offering both 30-amp and 50-amp service to accommodate different RV power needs.
    • Water: Connection to a reliable, potable water supply at each site.
    • Sewer: Direct sewer hookups for convenient waste disposal from the RV.
  • Pull-Through and Back-In Sites: RV parks usually offer a mix of site types, including pull-through sites for easier access and back-in sites. While one review noted difficulty with a back-in spot late at night, the presence of pull-through options is implied by their attempt to find one.
  • On-Site Management/Office: The mention of a "manager Wanda" and an "office" indicates that there is on-site management available to handle check-ins, payments, and address guest inquiries. While customer service experiences can vary, the presence of management is a key service for park operations.

Given the limited detailed information, it's important for prospective guests to confirm specific amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, or Wi-Fi availability directly with the park.

Promotions or Special Offers

Specific promotions or special offers for Log Cabin RV Park are not explicitly detailed in the provided customer reviews. Instead, the "value" often comes from competitive long-term rental rates.

However, it is common for RV parks to offer a tiered pricing structure that provides better value for extended periods. Prospective visitors could reasonably expect:

  • Weekly and Monthly Rates: It is highly probable that Log Cabin RV Park offers discounted weekly and monthly rates compared to daily rates. These long-term rates are standard in the industry for full-time RVers or those planning extended stays, making it more economical for longer periods.
  • Stable Pricing for Extended Stays: Long-term residents typically benefit from more stable and predictable pricing than transient guests.

Given the review mentioning a potential discrepancy between website pricing and current rates, it is crucial for interested individuals to directly contact Log Cabin RV Park using the provided phone numbers. I'm in the middle of this place. It's nicer than most. The website says one price but must have gone up. They didn't want to accommodate me because of my dog's breed. I get it but any dog can cause trouble if it's not under control of the owner. I'd be more afraid of a German Shepherd or Chihuahua attacking me than my dog but whatever.

Arrive early this am like 2am tired and drove to find a pull through spot but ended up having to park at end by the office . We could not back into the spot and did not want to wake the others by trying to do this so we very CAREFULLY pulled in making sure we did not damage any of the utilities. We did not even extend our pull out . All we did was plug in ! This am my husband went to pay and the manager Wanda was VERY rude to him about how he parked . My husband apologized and explained why he felt he had to park that way . She proceeded to be rude . He paid her and we left but we will NEVER stay there again!!! Customer service is not her best talent!!!! Guess she is NOT a happy camper she certainly ruined our morning!!!!!

Very well kept RV park, with free laundry, really nice building with super clean showers and a place to watch TV, but I got the impression they would rather not have nightly campers. The gal that checked us in seemed very upset that we arrived a bit earlier than her 1pm arrival time. Per the sign on the front we drove round an were selecting a site, when she jumped out of her car and demanded to know what we were doing. She said you are not parking there.... follow me! She directed us to a open pull thru site right off the parking lot, I imagine so she could keep a close watch on us. My sister said she was a bit more pleasant when she went to pay.
