Love's RV Hookup is strategically located at 1129 Smokey Mountain Ln, Newport, TN 37821, USA. For folks traversing Tennessee, this address immediately signals excellent accessibility, as Love's Travel Stops are typically situated right off major highways. This prime location near key routes ensures that RVers can easily pull in and out without significant detours, making it an incredibly convenient stop for those on a longer journey or simply needing a quick break.

Newport, Tennessee, serves as a gateway to some of East Tennessee's most popular destinations. While Love's RV Hookup is designed for quick, efficient stops, its location still provides reasonable access to local amenities in Newport. Restaurants are within walking distance, as noted by a satisfied customer who enjoyed dining at Cancun nearby. This means you can easily grab a meal without having to unhook your RV and drive.

Furthermore, for those planning to explore the wider region, the proximity to major roads means that attractions like the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge are still accessible for day trips, though the primary purpose of this hookup is generally for transient stays. The area is well-lit, contributing to a sense of safety and security for overnight guests. The design of the truck stop itself, with trucks entering from the other side, helps minimize noise directly at the RV spots, making for a surprisingly peaceful rest despite the busy location. This blend of direct access, nearby conveniences, and a focus on safety makes Love's RV Hookup a highly practical choice for Tennesseans traveling through the region.

Services Offered

  • Electric Hook-ups: The primary service provided is electric hook-ups at each RV site, which is often all that's needed for a comfortable overnight stay, allowing you to run AC, lights, and appliances.
  • Sewer Dump Station: An on-site sewer dump station is available for guests and is included in the price of the hookup. For non-guests, a fee of $10 applies to use the dump station.
  • Water Spigot: While individual sites do not have direct water hook-ups, a convenient water spigot is located between the end fuel pumps across from spot #1, allowing RVers to fill their freshwater tanks. This requires a hose long enough to reach.
  • Well-Lit Area: The RV parking area is described as "well lit," contributing to a sense of safety and security during nighttime stays.
  • Clean Restrooms: Customers consistently praise the cleanliness of the restrooms inside the Love's Travel Stop, providing a comfortable amenity for all guests.
  • Fuel Access: Being located at a Love's Travel Stop, RVers have immediate access to fuel services for both their RVs and tow vehicles.
  • Convenience Store: The Love's Travel Stop includes a full convenience store, offering snacks, drinks, travel supplies, and other necessities.
  • Truck Parking (Separate): The design ensures that truck parking is separate and the primary noise from trucks is minimal at the RV sites, as they enter from a different side of the facility.

Promotions or Special Offers

For Tennesseans looking to utilize Love's RV Hookup in Newport, specific, ongoing "promotions or special offers" beyond their standard pricing for an overnight stay are generally not advertised publicly. Love's RV Hookups are typically priced for convenience and essential services rather than long-term deals or recreational packages like traditional campgrounds.

However, the value comes from the inclusion of the dump station fee (which is typically $10 otherwise) in the hookup price. This can be seen as an inherent cost saving. Additionally, being part of the larger Love's Travel Stops network, customers might benefit from loyalty programs related to fuel purchases or in-store discounts, though these are not specific to the RV hookup itself.

The best approach to understanding the exact current pricing and any incidental offers would be to either check the Love's Connect app (if available for this location) or simply inquire at the Love's Travel Stop counter upon arrival. Their pricing model is usually straightforward and transparent for overnight electric-only sites. For a reliable, no-frills, and convenient overnight stop, the standard pricing offers good value.

Stopped for one night and enjoyed it. A little parking lot noise early on, rest of the night was fine. The trucks enter from the other side so you don't even hear them. Electrical hook-up only, no water. But note, there is a spigot between the end pumps across from spot #1. I had enough hose, hooked up for 10 minutes to fill my tank. As for sewer dump, it's off to the side of the parking lot and included in the price. Otherwise sign says $10 to dump. The Loves team working the night and day shift were all great!

The Loves RV Hookup in Newport, TN was a great place to stop overnight. Yes there is noise at times (mostly from motorcycles) but it was to be expected at a truck stop. We stayed on site #4. The site was wide enough for us to put out our slides on both sides. It was long enough for us to park our car in front of the RV. The area is well lit and seemed safe to us. We had power only but it was all we needed for one night. The staff was very friendly. The restrooms were very clean. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We went to Cancun and it was very good. We would stay here again if we needed an overnight stay.

Felt very safe, stayed 3 nights, was in and out with RV. Went to visit family for an 80th birthday, brought an RV with other siblings in it. Very easy to get to, staff was VERY helpful, bathrooms very clean, showers very clean. Will definitely do this again if I am ever back that way.

We stayed at the Love's in Newport Tennessee for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. We chose our site online and paid in advance. When we got there we checked in at the office and they told me that electric was on, water was by the gas pumps to fill the tank and to come get the key any time we needed to dump since it is included in the fee. I felt very safe and it was quiet, clean and inviting. The sites are large and clean. There is plenty of space for the RV and a vehicle to park in each space. I loved this experience and I will be using Love's often. Thank you Love's for making our vacation a great one!

We stayed here one night passing through. All four sports were filled. We had to go inside to check in and activate the electric hook up as the kiosk wasn't working. We had an end spot so asked if we could keep our truck parked next to us and the manager didn't have a problem with that. The dog park is really nice if people would clean up after their dogs. We were already aware that you had to pay to dump so didn't utilize that, but no one could tell us where the potable water was which was a hassle as we needed some water. The real issue we had with staying here was the noise. People were fighting at the pumps, people were racing around with loud pipes and the kicker was a greyhound bus decided to stop right in front of the RV spots to take a break or pick up passengers, we weren't sure. If you want a decent night of sleep, look elsewhere as this was a miserable stop. This stopover should really be more like $25 per night instead of $40
