Hands down the best inland lake park I've ever been to. Super dog friendly. Helpful locals (thanks again Debbie for blowing up my inner tube!). The shallow swimming area is great for kids and lounging in the water. North Manistique Lake is crystal clear with a nice sandy bottom, and I didn't see a single piece of seaweed all day. An ice cream store and market are conveniently located right around the corner. Bathrooms were clean. Easy access parking. We went on the 4th of July and I could not believe that this spot wasn't packed. It truly was a perfect day!
