Customer Reviews
Great place to take family! The river is shallow and moves fast enough to be comfortable. Tubes, toys, and chairs provided on site. Gorgeous setting and the owners are great! Campsite has a gorgeous view, especially at sunset.
I love this place. The owners are wonderful. Calvin fixed my vent when it blew off in a gust of wind. Last year they even ordered a birthday cake for one of our crew who was staying here. The people of this area are so friendly, if I didn't already have a home, I would retire in this area.
Owners are awesome and the concept of this is great! But the river is so unpredictable; we ended up pulling our tubes A LOT and getting terribly burnt. None of these things are the company's fault, just something to consider
Was a blast! Great people and great camp ground! The beach was great and the water was a lot of fun. Lot of games to play in the water.
Great folks, great river, awesome kayaking adventure. The Verdigre River is shallow so you'll be getting out often but the pastoral scenery and wildlife are definitely worth the work. On my first trip out I saw a bald eagle soaring a few feet above the river and a flock of white pelicans on a broad sandbar. Once the Niobrara and the Verdigre converge the water got big and fast moving making the paddling perfect offering the excitement of a Class 1 rapids. I would absolutely recommend Niobrara Adventures to anyone who loves moving water and sighting Nebraska wildlife.
