Customer Reviews
Expensive for what it is: a glorified campground. Like, you have to bring your own bedding. And, you better have great weather! Otherwise, there is NOTHING to do. We had the best style of cabin they offer, so at least we had our own bathroom. But, they didn’t have our res in the Dropbox. They didn’t enforce the quiet hours at all, people were partying until 1 a.m. They didn’t answer after hours phone calls. Just go somewhere else. You will actually have fun and it will be a lot cheaper!
Beware. They post on social media about water park being open and then once you’re there it’s all closed and they tell you for the first time it has to be 60 or hotter outside for any of it to be open. Upon checking into cabin, the key to cabin didn’t work, heater continuously blew out cold air, wrappers and trash all over upper part of cabin, smoke detector beeped all night long, showers were ice cold, and the kid activities were unorganized, kept getting cancelled or changed, and were unimpressive compared to other Jellystone resorts (of course the activities that cost $$ always went on without a hitch). Way oversold and grossly under delivered.
Rented a bungalow and was very clean! Every worker there was very polite and helpful. We pretty much had the place to ourselves!!! Was worried because of the bad reviews but if you left a bad review, you were the problem!!! This place is beautiful!!!!
Kid friendly great employees we had a nice time. David the activity manager is Awesome my kids loved him he made sure everyone had a good time! Great place to unwind and relax. Beach is clean and nice private lake 2 pools 1 with slides, and both have splash zones. Pool isn’t freezing it’s perfect even tho it’s not that warm out yet. Rented a golf cart for fun and easy transport of 5 kids under 5, playground and jump pillows, hay hey rides daily and also the bears Yogi, Boo-boo and Cindy bear were there daily. Long story short we will b back, thanks David and other friendly employees!!
I really wouldn’t recommend this park. We have been going to Jellystone parks for the last 15 years. Every year we pick a couple to go to and it’s been a tradition for us. We decided to give this park a try since we seen the new amenities which the kids did have fun on. Although things were closed a lot of the time they did get to enjoy them somewhat. The activities compared to other parks are subpar and disappointing. I honestly would recommend sending workers to visit another park for a weekend. We bring a big group with us every time and this time we had 4 sites, 2 cabins. Both cabins were dirty and not cleaned and only my family member complained to a worker about hers to which they cleaned it for them. Never once the entire stay was the garbage at the pavilion emptied and again we didn’t complain but instead tried to enjoy our time. Upon leaving we were charged for damages that we did not do, I called and talked to who I thought was the manager and she told me I would be refunded and I never was. I have never posted anything negative on yogi bear park which is why I have been bringing my family for years. But after being treated the way we were we will not be bringing our crew back.
