I lived here for three years. The park itself is beautiful and well-kept. The managers don't always enforce the rules evenly, however. Management can also be very anal about things. Lots of political signs (only for one party) make some people feel alienated, uncomfortable and offended. The residents are mostly nice but it's difficult to live a private life here. The trees are beautiful but some are too close to residences. A tree fell on my house while I lived here. Management is hesitant to have trees removed although they are falling frequently, even without bad weather!

Again, viewpoint as a neighbor - not resident. Park is quiet and well maintained. It has suffered more than it's share of traumatic summer storms over the past few years. A tornado too. But it always gets cleaned up and seems to bounce back in a hurry. Just wish the residents wouldn't feel so compelled to feed and make "pets" out of the nearby wildlife that share the park boundary such as the turkeys and deer. They have many acres of woods and habitat of their own to rely upon. Quit trying to soften and domesticate these magnificent creatures. They will survive without you - much better & healthier too.

The feel of the park is like a great campground. I really appreciate how much effort go into the snow removal and upkeep on the lawn and property. The lot rent is very reasonable and neighbors tend to stay for a long while. The only real drawbacks are the tree branch issues, and the pet policy. The branches are always falling onto the homes doing damage to some and we aren't allowed to take action removing them before they fall. We of course are liable for any and all repairs from these. The pet policy of 40.00 per dog is kind of crazy. Our dog weighs 9 lbs and is indoors 22 hours a day as well as only doing its "duty" in our yard and gets disposed of right away. I think that the money is a poor investment for this type of pet. We have had a tree fall on one mobile and in our new one a tree branch fell through our master bath roof. Tornado weather last year made things hard on us here.

Love living here. A lot of work in the fall raking leaves and picking up in the spring but worth it for the peace and quite and sounds of nature. Nice place to live now and retire later
