Customer Reviews
I booked a site last minute while traveling through, and I'm so glad I did! It is a beautiful, secluded place with no houses nearby or loud traffic. Where I stayed next to the pond, there were a few firepit rings and plenty of fallen wood to make a nice toasty fire. I'm so grateful to have come across such a place to stay for the evening, and I would definitely stay longer if I could. A few things to note- there are no restrooms or showers. It is a carry-in, carry-out facility. I had a little trouble locating the property ( I'll include a photo of the entrance). Chris answered right away and was very responsive and helpful, helping me to locate the entrance. Thank you Chris for the peaceful stay and at such a modest price. Much gratitude 🙏🏼
What an incredible campground!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! My family and I spent several days here and had an absolute blast. Our host, Chris was responsive and pulled out all the stops to make sure we had an enjoyable time. He taught my boys how to shoot a cross bow and we even broke out the potato gun. My boys loved chasing frogs around the pond and reading in their hammocks. We will always remember the super friendly German Shepard that came around to visit! Thanks for some incredible memories Chris!
I’ve been exploring private campgrounds around Central Texas and this one is a hidden gem!! Nice property to drive around and find your perfect campsite. Good cell signal. Quiet.
Absolutely amazing host. If want to spend some time in a beautiful place, this is it. Thank you for all the help 🚜
