  • Full Hookups: It's typical for RV parks to offer sites with complete hookups, including electrical connections (likely 30-amp and 50-amp options), water, and sewer connections at each site, allowing for self-contained RV living.
  • Pull-Through Sites: Given the review mentioning "Pull in and hook up," it's probable that the park features pull-through sites, which are highly convenient for larger RVs as they eliminate the need for backing up.
  • Temporary and Short-Term Stays: The nature of "pull in and hook up" suggests that the park is well-suited for overnight or short-term stays, although longer durations may also be available upon inquiry.
  • Owner/Management Interaction: One review highlights "Very nice folks!", indicating that there is a friendly and approachable management presence, which can be a significant asset for guests needing assistance or information.

It is important to note that specific amenities, such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, or restrooms, are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Guests seeking these specific services should confirm directly with the park before arrival.

Route 6 RV Park, while potentially a more straightforward offering, has some key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal for RV travelers, as indicated by customer feedback.

  • Ease of Access: The primary highlight is its location directly on Highway 6, allowing for incredibly easy "Pull in and hook up" access. This is particularly valuable for those traveling long distances or seeking a hassle-free stop.
  • Friendly Management: The positive feedback "Very nice folks!" suggests that the owners or management are welcoming and create a pleasant atmosphere for guests, fostering a positive experience.
  • Quiet Atmosphere (Potential): While specific details aren't provided, RV parks located slightly outside of heavily populated areas often offer a quieter environment, which can be a highlight for those seeking peace and relaxation.
  • Proximity to Calvert: Being in Calvert means guests have the opportunity to "enjoy some time in town," exploring its historic district, antique shops, and local charm, which can be a pleasant diversion during an RV trip.

However, it's also crucial to address concerns raised in one review, which highlight areas that may need attention or that prospective guests should be aware of:

  • Grounds Maintenance: The review mentioning "they don't cut the grass it's knee high" and "holes all over my site" indicates that grounds maintenance might be inconsistent, impacting the aesthetic and possibly the navigability of certain sites.
  • Loose Animals: The concern about "dogs running loose that was shittin on my site" suggests that pet policies, or their enforcement, may vary, potentially affecting comfort for guests without animals or those who prefer pets to be leashed.

These points suggest that while the park offers convenience and friendly interactions, guests should manage their expectations regarding site upkeep and animal control, and it may be beneficial to inquire about these aspects directly when booking.

Fairly flat, grassy spots. Not any trees. Good for an overnight, but it is right next to route 6 and highway noise is noticeable.

I absolutely love it here. Bathrooms are clean and most people I have met are super friendly. The price is great and includes utilities . It also has an incentive program where you get x amount of your rent when you refer someone. I love it most because you can have your dog or any other pet here
