Hike-in camp sites are great and EXTREMELY private! We didn't see or hear a single person in 4 days while at the site. It was so peaceful and along the Black river. We will be visiting frequently. If you are going to camp here, the hike-in camp sites are the way to go for the best experience.
Aug 08, 2024 · John MIt has only 59 sites, which very spacious and private. It has like two loops of camp sites easy to follow. Only one bath, shower house, unfortunately half stalls are out of order, definitely need updates. Walking distance to the sandy beach.
Jul 04, 2022 · Natha BReal nice campground, the stuff is always around working on stuff and very friendly. Most of the sites are pull through campsites. Bathrooms are in good shape. Some of the roads are getting pretty worn. Hope to come back again some day.
May 30, 2021 · Andy Fallon (LT Fallon)Campground looked nicely shaded. Some of the sites are spread out but some sites are real close too the road.
Jan 28, 2024 · Wyatt W. PenkeNice campground, just wish the DNR would invest in new shower house.
