As a state-managed campground within the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission system, Pawnee Lake Horse Corrals Campground adheres to a standard fee structure rather than offering commercial "promotions" in the retail sense. The primary "offer" for Nebraska residents is the cost-effective access to state recreational facilities. A Nebraska Park Permit (daily or annual) is required for vehicle entry into Pawnee State Recreation Area and other state parks; an annual permit (currently $35 for Nebraska licensed vehicles) provides significant savings for frequent visitors. The camping fees for Pawnee Lake Horse Corrals Campground are separate and were noted as $30/night as of July 2024, and later mentioned as $42, indicating potential price changes or different rate tiers based on specific dates or reservation methods. It's crucial for prospective campers to verify the most current pricing directly with the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission or through their online reservation system, as rates can fluctuate. There are typically no specific seasonal discounts or long-term stay promotions at state campgrounds beyond the inherent value of the annual park permit. Reservations, while not always strictly necessary due to the quiet nature of the campground, are advisable during peak times to secure a site.

Customer Reviews
Nice campground. Just passing through on way home. $30/night as of July 2024. Electric hookups.
We’ve stayed here a few times. The RV pads are all paved. You should expect to back into the site. All sites have electric at the site. The sites do not have water connections , though there is water available in the middle of the loop. To use it, you will either need jugs or a long, long length of hose to fill your tanks. The washrooms are pit toilets, no showers. There is plenty of grass for kids to play, but no playground. This campground is generally pretty quiet. I don’t think the horse pens get much use, as they’ve been overgrown with grass and weeds anytime I’ve seen them. Compared to most other campgrounds, it’s not worth the price ($42), but it’s relatively close to I-80.
Some of the campgrounds are not even plots of land even though you pay the same amount of money. My friends and I were on a small triangle pot while others could fit whole campers.
Camping area & restrooms were well kept & clean
Super nice campground!
