Great one-night stay at Peaceful Pines. I am especially thankful for Billy and Tammy, who were incredibly patient and generous with their time, as they helped me, an inexperienced RV user, get hooked up! 10/10 would definitely stay there again. Friendly neighbors and people who have been coming for 10+ years!
Sep 23, 2025 · Sheri MonizWe reserved our two night stay last minute since it was local for us. We had a great time. If you have kids they will love the extra attention and thought given to every single child visiting. I wasnt sure why they asked the age and name of my grandchild until he was personally gifted a present from Santa himself. The grounds are well cared for and security makes it feel safe. Since it was my birthday, we had visitors that felt as welcome as we did. If you have a golf cart bring it since it would make getting around the property so much easier. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you to all the staff and other friendly campers.
Jul 21, 2025 · Michelle RandolphTLDR: I'd give ZERO stars if that was possible. My wife and I camped here Friday, July 11, 2025. We were supposed to stay two nights but left Saturday afternoon because our experience was so unsatisfactory. Specifically: 1. Check-in: the young woman in the camp store had no clue where our site was located, was unfamiliar with the layout of the campground, particularly the new sites (where we were staying) and could not reconcile the "map" to the campground layout. Thus she was unable to give useful and coherent directions to our site. As a result, after going down the wrong dead-end road, my wife had to get out and walk the campground until she found our site. 2. Backing our 27' trailer into the site proved to be nearly impossible due to the narrowness of the road and the proximity of trees. Fortunately, the man in the site next to us was a retired 18-wheeler instructor and he, after 30 minutes of back and forth maneuvers, was able to park our unit. 3. The electrical hookup is located at the FRONT of the site and shared with the neighboring site. Fortunately we carry a 30-amp extension cord. However, that meant to park our truck between our trailer and the neighbor's RV, we would have to drive over the cord. That's a nonstarter. 4. Egress from the site. When the seasonal camper across the road arrived and parked his truck in front of his site, it made it impossible for us to pull our trailer out of our site. WE WERE TRAPPED. In the event of an emergency, we would not be able to pull the trailer out unless the person was at their site and could move their truck. We had to evacuate a campground once because we were in the path of a CAT 5 hurricane. Being trapped in our site is absolutely unacceptable. That is the primary reason we cut our stay short and left. The camper moved his truck so we could get our trailer out. 5. Visual appeal: the campground obviously caters to seasonal campers and ones we interacted with seem like a friendly bunch. However, many of the trailers and campsites are rundown and in need of some TLC. The moldy, mildewed trailers and motorhomes gives the whole place a tired, low-end look. We will not come back here, ever.
Jul 13, 2025 · David PancoastI have been a camper for 20 years . My children grew up here and are still coming as adults. This has been home for us and we made a lot of friends along the way. Peaceful pines is a great family campground. We have children and adult activities , bands at least once a month as well as dj dances with fun games. We stopped camping as of last year and have become mangers on the property along with the new owners who are a bunch of great guys. We were a little nervous embarking on this new adventure, we had a little rough of a first year . I believe it’s just going to get better from here . My granddaughter calls this home and she loves being here. I take a walk every morning or sometimes at night and it’s so peaceful and relaxing . The campers are friendly and we have so many new faces . I am proud to be a former camper and to call peaceful pines campground my home. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else . We also had a Corn hole tournament with lamb city campground this year it was a great event. Christmas in July, halloween , 80’s dance party and a chicken bbq by bellar bbq . I am excited for what next season brings. We also love our dogs, our dog is a golden retriever named cooper who loves everyone. Peaceful pines is a great place to camp to meet new people and have a great family experience.
