My favorite place to go trail running :) thank you for maintaining your trails and having so much space for everyone!
Jun 09, 2025 · Brenna TatalovichAlways a good visit. VA state parks offer free admission/parking if you have a handicap placard. There is also a form online to request free access if you don’t have a placard handy. Otherwise they spot your blue card in the windshield and wave you right on in without issue. Wish other state parks did this!!
Jul 09, 2024 · Airlea EvaryOne of our favorite places to camp. Close to convenient ammenities for shopping in town. Campsites are large and private with areas of nice wooded coverage for shade. Plus loads of hiking and biking trails. There is a large pool with Waterpark that is a fun place to cool off. There are nice gravel areas with picnic tables and firepits.
