This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Ray Housers RV Park, located in Forrest City, Arkansas, helping local users and travelers discover what this particular park has to offer.

The RV lifestyle in Arkansas is incredibly popular, reflecting the state's natural beauty and numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation. Many RV parks are strategically located near state parks, national forests, lakes, and rivers, providing easy access to activities like hiking, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. Beyond recreation, RV parks often serve as convenient stops for those traveling along major interstates like I-40, providing essential services and a secure place to rest. The appeal of RVing extends to its flexibility and affordability; it allows travelers to explore at their own pace, with the comforts of home always at hand, often at a lower cost than traditional lodging. Furthermore, many RV parks foster a sense of community, where fellow travelers share stories and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. For Arkansans, having reliable and well-maintained RV parks within reach is vital for both leisure and practical travel needs.

Location and Accessibility

Ray Housers RV Park is conveniently situated at 41 Sfc 714, Forrest City, AR 72335, USA. Forrest City, located in eastern Arkansas, serves as a significant stop along Interstate 40, a major transcontinental highway. This makes the RV park particularly accessible for travelers passing through the state, offering a much-needed break from the highway.

According to customer reviews, the park is approximately "4 miles south of the highway," specifically I-40. For those taking Exit 39, the directions involve taking Highway 1 South and then making a left onto 1B North, with the park appearing on the right "about 100 yards before the cemetery (on the left)." This clear guidance helps ensure easy navigation for arriving guests, even in a less urban setting. Despite its proximity to a major interstate, reviewers consistently highlight its "very quiet and peaceful" nature, with "no traffic noise," suggesting it offers a true respite. This balance of easy access and tranquil surroundings is a significant advantage.

Park does not have wash or laundry rooms, but has the basics (50 AMP, WATER. SEWAGE, ELECTRIC). No wifi, but our Verizon MiFi did the job. Great for a night. Good monthly rates . (450.00). Very quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise. Owners were very helpful and good people. If you take exit 39, you will take hwy 1 south, make a left onto 1B N. Park will be on your right about 100 yards before the cemetery (on the left) If you watch for it, You will see the park and RV's . When we arrived, the owners told us to just pick a spot and he came by later to collect the fee.

Great little bare bones park everything you need, water, power and sewer. No trees rock gravel for your space. $30 a night. Easy to find in the day but the sign is a little small and could be missed in the dark. It is 3.5 miles off I-40 Westbound at exit 241A going south. The park is about 30 yards on the left after you pass the Large cemetery. Owner is great, was great for a nights stay.

This is a no frills stop. It is just a rocked field but they do have full hookups (inc. 30 and 50 amp) at each site, the price is really good, and it is just outside the city limits so no thru traffic or major people noise. We'll definitely keep this in our list for future stops off I-40. They are about 7 miles off the interstate and the park is easy to get into. Be sure to Call ahead. No "on premises" office, but they'll make arrangements for someone to meet at the park.

Decent place, VERY quiet. Sites can get a bit muddy. Some sites are huge and could easily handle a 40 foot fifth wheel. Price is very reasonable, $30 for full connections, no amenities. Will definitely return. FYI... There is a small box at the far end of the property (opposite the road end of the property) where you pay your $30. No form to fill out.
