For travelers coming from larger cities like Jonesboro or Paragould, Rector is a relatively short and scenic drive. This accessibility is a significant advantage for campers who appreciate the convenience of having everything they need close at hand, without the hustle and bustle of a larger urban center. The peaceful atmosphere of Rector extends to the RV park, providing a calm retreat after a day of travel or exploration. While it doesn't boast direct interstate frontage, its position within a quiet town ensures a more relaxed approach and departure for your RV. The park's setting within a local municipal area also often means well-maintained roads leading directly to the sites.
Rector Memorial RV Park focuses on providing essential and highly valued services for RV travelers, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Full Hookups: All available RV spots at Rector Memorial RV Park come with full hookups. This means each site provides access to water, sewer, and electricity, which are crucial amenities for any RV traveler. Having all three services directly at your site eliminates the need for frequent trips to dump stations or concerns about water levels, offering maximum convenience.
Electric Service Options: The park caters to different RV power needs by offering both 30 amp and 50 amp electric hookups. This flexibility ensures that a wide range of RVs, from smaller campers to larger rigs requiring more power for air conditioning or multiple appliances, can be accommodated comfortably.
Self-Service Payment System: While there isn't a dedicated on-site office for check-in, the park utilizes a straightforward self-service payment system. Guests typically secure and pay for their spot through the helpful staff at Rector City Hall or the Police Department. This process is noted by visitors as being smooth and well-supported, ensuring you can quickly settle into your spot upon arrival.
Quiet and Secure Environment: While not an explicit "service," the park's atmosphere is consistently described as very quiet and safe. This contributes significantly to the overall quality of stay, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their time without disturbances. The involvement of local city departments in managing the park also adds to the sense of security and local support.
Rector Memorial RV Park, while small and focused on core amenities, offers several key features and highlights that make it an appealing choice for RVers.
Affordable Rates: One of the standout features of Rector Memorial RV Park is its highly competitive pricing. With rates of $17 per night for 30 amp sites and $27 per night for 50 amp sites, it provides an exceptionally budget-friendly option for full hookups. This affordability makes it a popular choice for travelers looking to maximize their travel budget.
Compact and Peaceful Setting: The park features a limited number of RV spots – specifically three, with two offering 30 amp service and one offering 50 amp service. This smaller size contributes significantly to its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Unlike larger, more bustling RV resorts, Rector Memorial RV Park offers a serene environment perfect for relaxation.
Convenient Full Hookups: As highlighted in the services, the availability of full hookups (water, sewer, and electric) at every site is a major draw. This convenience is a primary consideration for many RVers, ensuring a comfortable and self-sufficient stay.
Community Integration: Being a municipal park, Rector Memorial RV Park is well-integrated into the local community. Guests have positive interactions with the staff at City Hall and the Police Station, indicating a supportive and friendly local presence. This can enhance the overall experience, providing a sense of welcome and local connection.
Potential for Local Event Access: While the park itself is quiet, its location within Rector means guests are well-positioned to enjoy local festivals and community events that the town might host. As one reviewer noted, the park looks like a good place to be for such occasions, suggesting an opportunity to experience local culture.
Well-Maintained Sites: Though not explicitly detailed, the reviews suggest that the park is well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant and comfortable stay. The focus on essential services implies that these are kept in good working order.
Rector Memorial RV Park is known for its consistent and highly affordable pricing, which in itself acts as a perpetual promotion for budget-conscious travelers. The pricing structure is straightforward and transparent:
30 Amp RV Sites: $17 per night
50 Amp RV Sites: $27 per night
These rates are exceptionally competitive, especially considering that they include full hookups (water, sewer, and electric). Unlike many larger commercial RV parks that often have varying seasonal rates, membership requirements for discounts, or complex loyalty programs, Rector Memorial RV Park maintains its low, daily pricing as its primary value proposition.
Because it is a municipal park managed by the city of Rector, it typically does not offer traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the way a private business might. Its core offering is consistent affordability for reliable, essential services. Visitors can count on these fixed low prices throughout the year, making it an attractive option for both planned trips and last-minute stops where budget is a key consideration. Any potential "specials" would likely be related to local city events rather than direct camping discounts, so it's always a good idea to check with City Hall if you are visiting during a known local festival to see if there are any community-wide considerations.

Had a great one night stay at Rector Memorial Park. They have three RV spots, 2 30 amp and 1 50 amp. All are full hookups - water, sewer, and electric. $17 per night for the 30amp and $27 for the 50amp. It was very quiet and we felt safe. The wonderful ladies at City Hall and the Police Station helped us out with securing and paying for the spot. Would definitely return for one of their festivals.
