Reedy Haven Trailer Park About

Are you searching for a welcoming, family-oriented community in the heart of Florida, where friendly faces and a relaxed atmosphere are the norm? For many Floridians, especially those who appreciate a close-knit neighborhood and direct access to nature's best, mobile home parks – or manufactured home communities – offer an incredibly appealing lifestyle. Reedy Haven Trailer Park in Frostproof, Florida, stands out as a hidden gem, consistently praised by its residents for its warm, family-owned charm and its genuine sense of community. It's a place where neighbors become like family, and the owners are deeply invested in the well-being of every resident.

The concept of manufactured home living has gained significant traction in Florida, largely due to its affordability and the unique lifestyle it provides. Compared to traditional housing, manufactured homes often present a more budget-friendly path to homeownership, allowing residents to manage their finances more effectively. This often translates into more disposable income for enjoying Florida’s endless recreational opportunities. Reedy Haven Trailer Park embodies this value proposition, offering a comfortable and supportive environment without the hefty price tag associated with many other Florida communities.

What truly sets Reedy Haven apart, as passionately articulated by its residents, is the unparalleled sense of belonging and mutual care. Reviewers consistently highlight the "very friendly folks" and describe the community as a "small family community, with the most caring, understanding, and enjoyable people, anyone could hope for." The direct involvement and genuine care from the "outstanding, down to earth" family owners are recurring themes, emphasizing a level of personal connection rarely found in larger developments. This hands-on approach by the owners, even extending to support during difficult times like hurricane recovery, fosters an environment where "We all think of each other as family. Including the OWNERS!" This profound sense of camaraderie is what makes Reedy Haven more than just a place to live; it's a true home.

Beyond the strong community ties, Reedy Haven offers the perfect balance of relaxation and accessibility. Residents enjoy a "nice quiet Park for those of us that want to relax while we are at home," yet it’s "still close enough to things to do when we want to be entertained." This duality makes it an ideal choice for Floridians seeking a peaceful retreat that doesn't isolate them from the vibrant activities and attractions that the state is famous for. Reedy Haven Trailer Park truly represents a unique and highly desirable living experience for those valuing community, affordability, and a great Florida lifestyle.

This is a small family community, with the most caring, understanding, and enjoyable people, anyone could hope for. The owners are as outstanding, down to earth people you'll ever meet ! My wife and I love this Park. We all think of each other as family. Including the OWNERS! Our home was heavily damaged during Irma as well. However, with the help and encouragement of the owners, I rebuilt it better than it was. Once in a while we have someone move here who thinks the world owes them. However, their stay is short!! I’m just a winter resident and have been coming here for almost 21 yrs. I consider this my family away from my family. The people are friendly and helpful. I just recently loss my boyfriend of about 8 yrs. and they were all there for me to help me through this most difficult time. I couldn’t think of anyplace else I would rather spend my winters.

This park is like a soap opera everyone in everyone else's business, the owner is the worst. Friendly maybe to friendly. A mobile home renter who told me we could be friends and he would help me fix this home ended up being a sexual harassment person. The same person shows lots and gives information to people per the owner. Once stated by him if we couldn't be friends with benefits he destroyed my home and refused to repair. I am disabled and he thought I was his prey. I told him from the first day I met him I had no interest in him. I had to call Polk county sheriff to make him stay away. Along with everything else the property is not kept up. The lot I was renting had a rotten bee infested tree on the lot that destroyed my home due to hurricane Irma. Previous owners of the home informed me that they called a company to come out to cut the tree down refused to cut it down due to bees and the tree being rotted. They now want me to pay lot rent when their tree destroyed my home. They never had me sin any paper work as to when lot rent was due or rules. I will now find a attorney and sue. My father died 2 days after the hurricane and he bought me this home. I am a honest person and they have no empathy demanding rent due to their negligence.
