Mobile home parks, also known as manufactured home communities, provide a unique residential experience. They often offer a more affordable entry point into homeownership compared to traditional stick-built homes, while fostering a sense of community among residents. In Ohio, mobile home parks are regulated by the state, ensuring certain standards are met for lot sizes, home placement, and overall park operations. This offers a level of assurance to residents regarding the quality and safety of their living environment.
At Rent, the aim is to provide a practical and accessible living solution for individuals and families in the Columbus area. While the nature of mobile home park living emphasizes individual manufactured homes on leased lots, the community aspect can be a significant draw for many. While specific services can vary and are best confirmed directly with the park management, mobile home parks typically offer a foundational set of services to their residents. Based on common practices within the industry and general information available for mobile home communities in Ohio, you can generally expect the following:
- Lot Rental: Residents rent the land on which their manufactured home is placed. This typically includes access to the park's infrastructure.
- Utility Connections: While residents usually pay for their individual utility consumption (electricity, water, gas), the park generally provides the hook-ups to these services.
- Trash Removal: Many mobile home parks include trash collection services as part of the lot rent or offer it as a supplemental service.
- On-site Management: Mobile home parks often have on-site or readily available management to address resident needs, oversee park rules, and facilitate community operations. This can be beneficial for quick resolution of issues and a smoother living experience.
It is always recommended to inquire directly with Rent for a precise list of services and what is included in their monthly lot rent, as offerings can differ from one community to another.

Customer Reviews
Lived there 30 yrs ago and it was not that bad of a place to live. Now I've tried getting ahold of someone for the lat two months to look at trials that are new and they have changed landlords three in the last 2months hopefully this one stays and I can get into look at them hopefully the electricity is on now
Awful management; never fixed anything, never cared about their customers, meanwhile; always applying strict rules !
My new home.. so far (6 months) been awesome. Nice quiet place to call home. Great neighbors
I have been a resident here since 1986 and this property is in the worst condition it's ever been in. The ownership and management are absolutely unconcerned with the condition of the park and NEVER fix/repair anything. They should be ashamed about this property's condition, and in my opinion, their management (or lack thereof) of this park. The roads are crumbling and full of HUGE potholes you can barely straddle with your car. Laundry machines are about 25 years old. No hot water tank...only cold water. Street lighting goes unmaintained for years. No enforcement of rules regarding residents keeping their lots in respectable condition. Grass and weeds on empty lots and other areas are not maintained very well. Resident complaints are ignored or met with sighs of disgust historically, no matter who happens to be the manager over the years. Every manager I've complained to says "My hands are tied" or something along those lines, as if to suggest that ownership makes it that way for them. I would NOT recommend living here unless you just want to hand over your lot rent and never need to communicate with management about anything. ZERO stars!!! Horrible!!! Only gave one star because the post is not acceptable unless you do.
The people acted like didn't want anyone there I went there to do a check up on someone The person I went to see is moving out of there. because of the way he is being treated They need to fix their roads
