Customer Reviews
I live east of this trailer park, for some reason they removed EVERY tree from the park and now the skyline-view.is hideous
UPDATE-- JUST RECEIVED LETTER STATING THE OWNERS HAVE REQUESTED THAT ALL TREES BE REMOVED🤬.... Not only that they are gas lighting us by saying it's to our benefit-and I quote "we believe it will make the community safer and look better"... Yes because everyone hates trees, they are so UGLY! Regardless, the fact stands that these unsightly unsafe trees provide homes to many native Ohio creatures- such as the yellow/green finch, robins,Sparrow and most importantly the AT RISK red headed woodpecker!! Least importantly, the trees provide much needed greenery and shade in our little community here in Columbus which has officially been classed as a "heat island" here in Ohio..It's a proven fact that a property with mature trees has a higher value than one without,so the finical aspect doesn't addup- even if you factor in the chance of insurance claims or roots(which are what I believe to be the REAL reason for their destruction-which lets be honest-50+year old pipes will need replaced sooner or later) Many tenants here whom I've spoken with value the trees if not for personal reasons(like shade, love of the nature and beauty) then simply for environmental reasons.. yes we may not own the property on which our homes sit but that doesn't mean that you can gas light us, stating it's for you-ALL FOR YOU! I guess I may feel differently if there were a plan in place to replenish the greenery, but there is not....they could get trees with more of a "surface root" system-but they are obviously not concerned with the wants, needs and or comfort of the folks who reside here....this coming just as this place was starting to look good😒 its actually quite sad as many, many tenants felt/feel the same way as my previous review...now we will all be living in a bare, hot, desolate place void of inner city nature and the comfort something as simple as a few trees provides-- if I hear/see any changes I will revise this review-but,really,what do you expect? I'm sure the decision-makers have the luxury of greenery surrounding their dwellings-so I am sure my concerns will fall on deaf ears and unsympathetic hearts.... PREVIOUS REVIEWS:: Hated this place before new management. She took care of the roads and got folks to take care of their homes. No longer embarrassed to have friends and family visit! Any issues are taken care of promptly. I have family that live in the park on steltzer and one on Westerville Rd-sadly not only are the homes trash but cannot reach anyone about the rats and drug dealers. Makes me happy to call this park home!
