You can do everything right from Rippling River Resort and never need to leave unless it was to bike or hike. All of the staff is amazing, however I have to call out Kenzie! I highly recommend this campground. I stayed at the rustic tent sites and it was large, soft, level ground without roots. Also, it was a short walk to the parking lot and bathroom and not too far from the lodge. Another perk was the lodge which had a heated balcony and large campfire as well as beer and pizza. It was a rainy day so we didn’t want to stay by the campsite.

Honestly really surprised at how clean the little cabins are and well kept the camp areas are. The prices for drinks are pretty cheap too, not sure where you can get a draft beer for $2 anymore besides a small town dive bar. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a more affordable place to stay and wants to be more on a campground vs downtown.

Stayed here while visiting my sister at NMU in late April. Chilly weekend but the campground was one of the best we’ve stayed at! Location was excellent, facilities were very clean and service was great as well. Hope to stay here in the future!
