Its dedication to providing a memorable experience is evident in the warm welcome and stunning natural beauty that surrounds every campsite.
Riverview Park Campground is a highly-rated camping destination located in Marion, Kentucky. Its name truly reflects its primary appeal: stunning, unobstructed views of the Ohio River. This campground is celebrated for its majestic scenery, with numerous barges gracefully passing by and anglers enjoying the serene waters. While it offers a peaceful and natural setting, it also provides essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for all types of campers.
The park aims to be a perfect retreat, offering a quiet environment where visitors can truly unwind and connect with nature. Despite being a bit off the beaten path, its allure lies in its picturesque location and the sense of tranquility it provides. Campers have expressed immense satisfaction, with some wishing they "could rate it more than 5 stars" and emphasizing their desire to return. While the drive around the campsites can be "a little tight," the overall management of the park, including the functionality of utilities, is highly regarded. This commitment to a well-kept environment, coupled with the natural beauty of the Ohio River, makes Riverview Park Campground a standout choice for those seeking a relaxing and scenic camping experience in Kentucky.
It's important to note that while the park itself is "very well kept," attention to specific navigation instructions is crucial for larger rigs to ensure a smooth arrival, highlighting the owner's dedication to making the guest experience as positive as possible from start to finish.
Riverview Park Campground is located in Marion, KY 42064, USA, specifically nestled right on the banks of the Ohio River. While the exact street address within Marion is not broadly publicized, its identity is intrinsically linked to its riverside location. Marion itself is a city in Crittenden County, Kentucky, offering a blend of small-town charm and access to the region's natural beauty.
Accessibility to the campground, especially for those with larger RVs, requires careful attention to routes. General GPS navigation, particularly using Google Maps, has been noted by some campers to direct vehicles onto challenging roads, specifically mentioning a "little back road (Cotton Patch) that was literally impassable" for full-sized rigs due to turns and steep banks.
Therefore, for optimal and safe access, especially with a full-sized rig, it is highly recommended to follow specific guidance: "be sure to come in via Hwy 91 and Road 387!" This advisory comes directly from experienced campers and is crucial for avoiding difficult maneuvers. Hwy 91 is a state route that runs through Marion, connecting to larger regional roads, which would then lead to Road 387 (Crittenden County Road 387) to guide campers directly to the park without issue.
Marion provides basic amenities like gas stations, local eateries, and small shops for necessities, ensuring campers can restock supplies within a reasonable distance. For more extensive services or attractions, larger towns in Western Kentucky or Southern Illinois would be within a broader driving range. The primary appeal of its location, however, remains its serene riverfront setting, providing a peaceful escape while still being reachable for Kentucky residents.

As a public or privately managed campground focused on providing outdoor recreation, Riverview Park Campground typically operates on a standard rate system for its campsites. Specific, limited-time "promotions" or "special offers" are generally not a common feature, but rather the value is derived from its competitive pricing for the amenities and scenic location it offers.
-
Standard Site Rates: Campground rates are typically set based on the type of site (e.g., full hookup, electric only), the season, and duration of stay (nightly, weekly). Prospective campers should visit the park's official website or contact them directly for the most current pricing.
-
Value for Scenery and Amenities: The primary "value proposition" for Riverview Park Campground is the combination of its "majestic" river views and reliable full hookups at what is generally a reasonable price point for such a desirable location. Many campers feel the experience far exceeds the cost, as indicated by desires to rate it "more than 5 stars."
-
Off-Season Benefits: While not a promotion, camping during the off-season (e.g., winter months as mentioned in a review) can sometimes offer more availability, potentially lower rates (though not guaranteed), and a unique, quieter experience. Campers should inquire about seasonal variations in pricing and availability.

Customer Reviews
If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would! We absolutely loved staying here! We did not want to leave, and will be returning. The view is majestic. Many barges went through, as well as a few (brave in January 🥶) anglers. I had a little trouble navigating the reservation website, but I called and a very nice lady walked me through it. The picnic area and playground were nice. The drive/road around the campsites was a little tight, but we managed (without curbing) with a 38' rig and a small toad. The electrical, water, and sewer connections all worked flawlessly. (We did not go into the restrooms.) There was a quite a bit of broken glass/dishes on the boat ramp, but other than that, the park was very well kept. (Why do people do that?!) We had adequate cell signal (AT&T). The only real problem we had was with GOOGLE MAPS. It routed us to come in from Evansville on some little back road (Cotton Patch) that was literally impassable for our rig. The turns and steep banks were too much. We had to unload our toad to get turned around, and it was kinda scary! If you come to this little bit of paradise in a full-sized rig, be sure to come in via Hwy 91 and Road 387! We had no problems with that route.
Nice peaceful place. Little litter pick up seems in order though
Great little campground, only, 8 sites, & no reservations, FCFS, but a beautiful view of the Ohio River from most of the sites.
