As part of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Rock Creek Campground operates under the pricing and reservation system of the National Park Service. Individual campsites are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a standard fee often around $20 per night for sites without hookups. However, specific group campsites within Rock Creek (known as Rock Creek Group Camp) are reservable through recreation.gov and typically cost $50 per night. It's important to note that due to extensive cleanup and restoration efforts following a tornado in April 2024, and subsequent changes to the 2025 summer campground schedule, Rock Creek Campground (referring to the individual sites) may only be open on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) during the summer season. Always check the official NPS website for the most up-to-date information on operating schedules, fees, and any potential promotions or changes due to park conditions.

Reservations for group sites can be made up to 360 days in advance, with a 2-day minimum for weekends and a 3-day minimum for holidays. While there aren't typically "special offers" in the commercial sense, the affordability of camping within a National Recreation Area, coupled with the natural beauty and facilities, represents excellent value for Oklahomans. Given the potential seasonal closures or modified schedules for individual sites, calling the park directly or checking recreation.gov is crucial for planning your visit.

We set up tent at campsite #5. We paid $15/night. The campsite has its own parking area(not a walk-in campsite). The campsite is next to the creek. The creek has clear running water that it was so hard to catch a fish. The campsite is well covered by mature trees. Overall, the campground is clean with well lighted restrooms. It is not too crowded as the other campgrounds in the area. The host was very friendly. I would suggest to bring extra mosquito repellent and bugs spray though.

Great campsite! Really big, very clean. Nice, clean well-kept bathrooms. We took a group of 27 people with us and this site was plenty big enough. Nice fire pit (bring your own firewood!) and the camp hosts/rangers were very kind. Will definitely be back! We also took the Trail to the top of the “mountain” right next to our campsite. Super easy and fun!

Rock creek campground is awesome, been going since I was a kid. Its nestled between the creek and Bromide "hill" close enough to wall then hike the hill to the overlook, a short walk to veterans lake, a little drive away is Travertine creek, little Niagara and the travertine nature center. Restrooms are clean and centered on the loops. Only downside there is sometimes other campgrounds may have to walk through yours to get to them but that's the price to pay for a site next to them Campgrounds 40 and higher are the best but are only open in season (or as needed?) Plus its 2 minutes to town if you forget any camping stuff.

Sites were nice, even though they do have to many closed off forcing people to camp very close together, but paying is easy, you pick a spot enter it into the pay machine and pay with your card, the camp hosts come by and explain the rules and then you enjoy your self, the hiking trails very in difficulty levels, and the views are beautiful, also there's stores near by so if you need something or forgot something it's easily fixed
