Based on the provided customer reviews, Rose Creek Family Campground appears to operate with a focus on providing exceptional value through its high-quality amenities and outstanding hospitality, rather than constantly advertising explicit "promotions or special offers." The "kindness" of the owners, such as daily trash pickup and providing wood, can be seen as ongoing value-added services.
However, it's common for family campgrounds to offer or have unadvertised special considerations. For North Carolina locals interested in potential savings or deals, it's always recommended to:
-
Call Directly: The best way to inquire about any current promotions, seasonal rates, or potential discounts for extended stays, groups, or repeat visitors is to call Rose Creek Family Campground directly at (828) 821-1610. The owners, Sandy and Eddie, are described as highly accommodating, so a direct conversation is likely to be beneficial.
-
Check for Off-Peak Season Deals: Like many campgrounds, there might be lower rates or special packages available during non-peak seasons (e.g., late fall, winter, early spring), when demand is lower.
-
Follow Social Media/Website: While not explicitly stated, campgrounds often post updates on their social media channels or official websites about upcoming events, last-minute openings, or occasional specials. It would be wise to check these platforms if available.
-
Loyalty/Repeat Customer Benefits: Although not mentioned, some campgrounds offer loyalty programs for returning guests. Given the high rate of repeat visitation suggested by reviews ("I plan to return a lot this summer"), it might be worth inquiring if any such informal or formal system exists.
The consistent positive reviews suggest that the overall experience and included amenities (like live music, ice cream socials, playground, and fishing pond access) represent a strong value proposition, which for many campers, is more appealing than a simple discount code.

We had such an amazing time this past weekend at Rose Creek. Very relaxing and the owners Sandy and Eddie are the best. They go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Our entire family loved it and we will definitely be back again. ❤I thank you Rose Creek for helping us make memories.
I absolutely love it here. The people are so friendly. It is well maintained and the best part is that it is dog friendly.
We absolutely love it here. I have a three year old daughter so LOVES it here and the park is so neatly kept up. Everyone is super friendly so you don’t have to worry about people being rude! The owners are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! They have the best attitudes and very helpful when you need something. They have a store that basically has anything you could’ve forgotten at home. The campground even has a game room that has so many games to choose from. You’re child could never get bored , which they have a little area with awesome prizes. We love this campground, it’s like a second home to us and the people there make it even better. We value the owners because they work so hard to run a nice, clean and very friendly campground. I definitely recommend brining you’re family for a weekend visit!
The campground reopened in April under new mgmt who spent the off-season upgrading facilities With many more improvements and additions planned. This includes efforts to improve cell and internet service but hey!!! Time to unplug and enjoy life. We came here from Oklahoma needing temporary location during a transition. We could not ask for friendlier or more accommodating management team along with other friendly campers who are supporting new owners. It is unfortunate the negative reviews stay with the website because as of April 2019 they are not valid. Even as business owners we have accommodated the lack of connectivity and survived well for several weeks already. We will bring our family here in the future and participate in their new activities. You will not be disappointed to call them. Another month has passed with weather delaying our construction so our home is still Rose Creek. During this time we’ve witnessed more improvements, some of which would be invisible to general public. Have also witnessed extreme efforts to service campers and would-be visitors. There is activity for children and adults alike, as much or little as you to participate. Buildings have been upgraded, bath house and laundry is cleaned daily, beach area for water fun. What we found amazing that after a sold out record for Memorial Day that the visiting campers showed such respect for the new owners’ efforts that the camp was cleaned and tidy on Tuesday. You might be in time for potluck dinner, Saturday brunch, or be part of the karaoke entertainment. The ugly reviews are unjustified and not relative to Eddie and Sandy. Come see for yourself. And wave at the Cherokee when you drive by.
