All of the cabins are different, we were with a group and the other two cabins where great. Ours was OK, super small compared to the others, reminded me of a tough shed with a porch. Small operation, couldn't take out rafts due to the water level but it was fun to just sit in the river with our chairs. Very friendly staff. If you are into haunted stuff, their haunted house and haunted float look pretty cool

We camped for the haunted float. It was a blast! It was probably the last warm day of the year, and it couldn't have been more perfect. People checking us in were great, the float, haunted corn maze, and haunted house were an absolute blast. We can't wait for next year!

I live year round at Ruby's Landing. It is absolutely magnificent. However, I have had nothing but trouble from it's park manager Kelly. If the woman doesn't like you she will find a way to get you out. I'm currently fighting a bogus eviction. She has no problem using her position to bully people into complying with demands she has no authority to make. GREAT place to visit but beware if you live here. I'm in the process of getting a restraining order against the park manager.

We recently visited for camping and the haunted float/activities. We had 2 RV sites and 1 cabin. The cabin was very nice, roomy and clean. The haunted house and the forest/maze were very well done and professional. The float was slow and not much to it. We did have a few issues arise during the stay. First they were having the main entrance road repaved on Friday when most campers coming for the weekend arrived. Was told we could park at the top until they were done which would likely be after dark or drive down the large hill through the grass. We did drive through the grass area and ended up with a flat tire, and had to get a replacement, from a golf tee stuck in it which we later found a pile of the in the grass area where we drove. When you check in there is no maps or activity sheets given to you for the campground which was odd to me. We asked about the pickleball courts as advertised online and was told they don’t use it for that as no one plays pickleball. Also no volleyball court that is also advertised on the website. The playground needs some upkeep, the flooring of the “pirate ship” set up is rusted through and almost put my foot through it. Lastly there was a bunch of trash left in the fire pit on our site, easy fix. Overall we had a good time just a few hiccups to be aware of.

Utilized the river entrance and exit. The "shuttle" (retired prison bus) will take you and your crafts to the entrance and let you out. If you don't have vehicles to transport your own kayak/canoe you can use this, but it's pretty expensive for the services offered. Additionally, the "campground" seems to be grass by the river, and the RV park is alright, cabins look nice, and the little pond is a nice catch and release area. Seems like a place improving as it goes.
